Merry Monday- Sweet Little Stockings Mel Mel Cards

Only 5 days left until Christmas!!! Have you made and sent all of your Christmas cards yet? I am just about done and then I remembered about this class I ordered a couple of months ago from my upline Melanie Williams! She prepared 6 card kits for me and each day this week I will share with you one of the cards from that class! 

Here is the stamp set and dies I used to finish the kits:

Sweet Little Stocking Stamp Set & Stocking Dies (both retiring and the Dies are 50% off) 

 Card Number 1- Felt Stockings

This card has so much texture because she used the Jolly Felt (also retiring). 

She created these fun stitched Scalloped rectangles (Switched So Sweetly Dies) to create some awesome layers! 

Card Number 2- DSP Stockings

This card features the Designer Series Paper, Sweet Stockings,  as it used it for the stocking and top scalloped piece. 

She also added some texture by embossing the Old Olive with the Wintery 3D Embossing Folder! 

Card #3- DSP & Gift Card 

I just love how this card shows off the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper. 

She also added the Pool Party ribbon (on sale right now is is while supplies last) and had me stamp, die cut, and color the gift! 

Card #4- Puppy Tag 

This puppy stocking card is so cute for so many reasons. First, she took that banner die cut from the Stocking Dies (50% off) and made it look like a tag by adding ribbon to to the top. It then matches perfectly with the tiny tag. She also used the Wintry 3D embossing folder again to create some simple texture. 

Then this card becomes a Fun Fold by adding one simple score line to create a "book binding" look. That little puppy was stamped, die cut and colored with blends. But you also have a choice between a cat or a hamster! All of the favorite pets! 

Card Number 5- Sending Lots of Love Gifts Card 

There is so much to love about this "sending lots of love" card. This is the perfect card to make with this set if you are not a pet lover. It just goes to show that there is so much variety and the design possibilities are endless. 

I stamped all 3 gifts and colored them in with Stampin' Blends, and used the Cherry Cobbler to create the stitched look on the bottom of the Pool Party that then matches the DSP we used! Such a clever card! 

Card #6- Santa Paws 

I just LOVE this DSP! This stocking filled with adorable pets is bound to make anyone smile! 

I also just love the layout of this card and how the Stocking Dies even come with the holly leaves (that at already together) and then I just used the Decorated Matte Dots which are sold out already!
