The song by Meghan Trainor comes to mind when I think about card bases, "I'm all about that bass...no treble." Is the line she says but I think, "It is all about that base (card base), no trouble!"
Because when you have a good card base you will have no trouble with your card.
Here are my Tuesday's Tips for you...
Why to use a Thick White card base.
1- Use a THICK white card base when able. I can't stress enough the importance of it being thick. Stampin' UP! Basic White is a lighter card stock then the colored card stock and when you use it as a base you can tell. It feels "floppy"! You don't want a floppy card, you want it to be sturdy and be able to stand up (so it can be displayed).
2- Use a white card base so you have a clean and easy spot to stamp on or write on in the inside. Other wise you'll need cut an extra white piece to put in the inside.
3- You can cut and prep all your Thick White cardstock and have your card bases premade! Since white matches with everything you know you will use them up.
Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
