12 Days of Tutorials- Shepherd's Care

 


On the Twelfth day of Christmas Tutorials my Stampin' Friend gave to me....

Shepherd’s Care

Measurements:

 

·       Pretty Peacock 8 ½ x 5 ½

·       Designer Series Paper 5 ¼ x 4

·       Gold Foil 2 7/8 x 4 1/8

·       Basic Beiges 2 ¾ x 4

·       Very Vanilla for stamping/cutting star

 

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Fold Pretty Peacock in ½ to create card base

2.     Wrap Twine around DSP and attach to card base

3.     Stamp shepherd on Very Vanilla with Basic Beige ink

4.     Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla with Pretty Peacock Ink. 

5.     Add Very Vanilla to Gold Foil and attach to card with Stampin’ Dimensional

6.     Tie bow with Gold Twine

7.     Stamp star on Very Vanilla in Crushed Curry and hand cut.  Attach using Mini Glue Dots

8.     Add sequin

Christmas Friends

Measurements:

·       Thick Basic White C/S : 8 ½” x 5 ½” ,

·       Basic White: 5 ¼”x 4”, scrap for the sentiment and to stamp the Bear

·       Real Red: 3”x 3” for punching the circle

·       DSP: 1 ½”x 4  

 

Instructions:

1.     Fold the Thick Basic White card base at 4 ¼” and burnish.

2.     Emboss the Basic White with the Forever Plaid embossing folder using the Stampin’ cut and embossing machine. Adhere to the card base with dimensionals.

3.     Adhere the DSP to the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.     Using the 2 3/8” punch and the Real Red C/S punch a circle. Then emboss with the Snowflake Sky EF. Adhere to card front using dimensionals.

5.     Stamp the Bear image onto the scrap of Basic White using Memento Ink.

6.     Colour with wreath using the Old Olive Blends, berries and bow with the Real Red Blends, and colour the outer edges of the Bear with the Crumb Cake Blends as shown in photo

7.     With the Wink of Stella give a little sparkle to the bow.

8.     Colour cheeks in with Petal Pink.

9.     Die cut the Bear with the matching die and Stampin’ cut and emboss machine.

10. Place a few dimensionals onto the Bear and adhere to the Real Red circle.

11. Stamp sentiment with the Memento Ink onto a scrap of Basic White C/S and adhere to card front using dimensionals.

Measurements:

 

·       Old Olive Card Stock 1: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”,

·       Mossy Meadow Card Stock 2: 4 x 5 1/4”

·       Gold Foil Sheet Card Stock 3: scrap for star die cut

·       Seasons of Green & Gold DSP: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”, scraps for die cutting

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Die cut two different trees from the Decorative Tree Dies, using two DSP choices.

2.     Adhere Adhesive Sheet to the back of the same DSP (2) and using the spine die, cut two and adhere to the opposite tree shapes.

3.     Die cut two stars, one from the Gold Foil Sheet and one from the Mossy Meadow CS. Lightly brush Wink of Stella Glitter Brush onto the Mossy Meadow Star.

4.     Adhere the Seasons of Green & Gold DSP to the Mossy Meadow CS using Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.  Ahere to the Old Olive CS card front.

5.     Adhere Tree die cuts to front of the card.  Using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere stars to treetops.

6.     Stamp tree using Old Olive and Mossy Meadow ink.  Stamp the sentiment from Greetings of the Season in Old Olive.  Adhere to inside of card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.

Light the Year

·       Tools: Light the Year Dies (164091); Golden Greenery Dies (164116); Deckled Circles Dies (162286); Blending Brushes (153611); Paper Trimmer (152392); Stampin’ Blends Daffodil Delight (154883) and Poppy Parade (154958)

Measurements:

 

·       Card Stock 1: Very Vanilla 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”

·       Card Stock 2: Mossy Meadow 5 ¼” x 4 1/8”; Mossy Meadow 3 1/8” x 58”

·       Card Stock 3: Very Vanilla 15/16” x ½”

·       DSP: 5 ½” x 4”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Cut out the Very Vanilla base card then fold it in half making a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” card.

2.     Cut Mossy Meadow CS layer, and Seasons of Green & Gold DSP layer.

3.     Die cut the ¾” Deckled Circle. Adhere all of the pieces in previous steps as shown in photo with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.     Stamp the candle from Light the Year in Gray Granite. Then color with Stampin’ Blends (Poppy Parade & Daffodil Delight).

5.     Stamp the remaining pieces from Light the Year and Golden Greenery as shown in photo, then die cut.  Cut the loop off of the lantern.

6.     Using Blending Brush and Lemon Lolly ink, to color in the lantern.

7.     Layer and glue pieces as pictured starting with the candle

8.     Using the Paper Trimmer, cut out the Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla scraps for the sentiment from Reindeer Fun.

9.     Stamp the sentiment, then glue two pieces together adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Fun Fold Friday- Shepherd's Care

 


Fun Fold Friday with Shepherd's Care stamp set!

Be sure to double stamp the inside! One on top, that no one can see until opened and one on the bottom which can be seen open and closed. 


I made this card for my Demo Swap Stampers group! We had a rules for the card. It had to use a color from the Regals Family. It needed to have heat embossing and vellum. It also needed to have a Christmas theme.

Supplies


Measurements
Garden Green: 4 1/4" x 8" scored @ 5 1/2", 4 1/4" x 3"
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 4" x 2 3/4"
Vellum: 2 1/4" x 4"


Steps
  1.  Measure, score, and cut your paper. *Cutting Tip: Cut your cardstock vertically (4 1/4" x 11") and use the left over piece (4 1/4" x 3") for the matte. 
  2. Heat emboss with the Versamark, Heat Tool, and the Basic White the Shepherd. Attach to the Garden Green matte. 
  3. Stamp on the Basic White the "peace on earth" and inside greeting with Garden Green. Glue to the inside of the cardbase. 
  4. Glue the vellum to the top of the cardbase. 
  5. Attach the Shepherd with Dimensionals behind the back of the top only. 
  6. Embellish with 3 gems.
