Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! We are showing you today some ideas with the
New Stampin' UP! Suites & Bundles.
I'm Rachael Coon, with the Joy of Stampin' with Rachael and am from Los Angeles, California. I used the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite for my creations.
Kintsugi, literally means "golden joinery".
It is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending cracks with lacquer dusted with gold or silver. But it is MORE than just a repair technique. It is a philosophy that embraces the BEAUTY of imperfections and history of of an object rather than to hide them.
Broken but Better!
Here is my card!
My card has a little bit of everything from the Suite.
You can buy everything in the Suite with just one ordering code OR
you can order one item at a time with their individual ordering code.
*Right now with the sale I suggest ordering one whole suite with another whole suite to get one of the suites for 50% off.
Or if you just one suite buy it piece by piece to get the Bogo Sale, buy one item and get 50% off.
The Suite includes
INSPIRING IMPERFECTIONS STAMP SET (10% off) - 11 stamps
INSPIRING IMPERFECTIONS DIES (10% off) - 9 dies - Largest die: 2-7/8" x 1-5/16" (7.3 x 3.3 cm)
JOINED TOGETHER 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER - 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" (11.4 x 15.9 cm)
KINTSUGI INSPIRATIONS 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER - 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
FLOWER ACCENTS - 70 adhesive-backed pieces - 4 mm, 6 mm
The gold Flower Accents are flat with a great texture to them. They are currently unavailable but you can sign up to be emailed once they are back in stock.
The Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty DSP has two sheets of paper that you can die cut 3 images out with. The best part of the DSP is that is is a "larger" size then the die and it create no "white" outlines for the vases and cups.
The Joined Together 3D Embossing folder is one of my favorite things about this suite!
It has 5 different textures on just one embossing folder. Each pattern divided by "cracks".
So you can use just a part of the embossing folder for the texture you want or like my card, use the whole embossing folder to see them all.
I hope you can see the beauty of the Kintsugi Inspirations and just think of all of the amazing creations YOU could make with it too!

Here is the Layout for June! Really simple. Background (DSP), rectangle (Sentimental Framing), and banner (Stylish Shapes).
Be sure to finish the card by stamping in the inside and adding a small strip of DSP.
When you place an idea with me in June I'll email you a pdf of the Layout Love. You'll find 2 more ideas on how to use this layout with Stampin' UP! products!
Shop my online store for everything I used to make this card.
Here are the May swaps with a Pop Up layout, holiday theme, must use the Brights Family colors, use a stencil and blending brush! Phew! We all agreed, it was a tricky challenge BUT I loved the results!
