Measurements:

 

·       Pool Party: 5 ½” x 8 ½” card base

·       Pumpkin Pie: 5 ¼” x 4” layer & approx. 1 ½” x 2” scrap

·       Basic White: 4 ½” x 3”

·       Basic Black: 2 ½” x 4”

·       Snowy Scenes DSP: 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Score Pool Party card base on the long side at 4 ¼” and fold.

2.     Attach the Snowy Scenes DSP to the Pumpkin Pie layer using liquid glue.  

3.     Add a piece of Pompom ribbon (approx. 6 ½”) to the center of the Pumpkin Pie and DSP layer and attach the ends around the backside using Mini Glue Dots. Then, attach the layer to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.     Die cut the narrow snow globe shape and two of the small mountain shapes using Basic Black cardstock. (This will be the base of your penguin and his arms.)

5.     Die cut a heart (the heart you will use is 2 3/8” at the widest part) from the Hearts of Elegance Dies using Basic White cardstock. On the same piece of cardstock, you will stamp two of the berry clusters in Memento Black ink and the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie. Die cut the sentiment using the base piece of the snow globe and the berries using the coordinating die.

6.     Die cut two more small mountain pieces and a skinny tree using the Pumpkin Pie scrap cardstock. (This will be the flippers and the beak.)

7.     To assemble your penguin, glue the white heart to the black base and trim the sides of the heart that hang over the sides using paper snips. Add the arms using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Snip the Pumpkin Pie tree for the beak and add to his face using liquid glue. Trim the largest berry from each cluster using paper snips and add them to his face using liquid glue. Glue the Pumpkin Pie mountain pieces to the bottom for the flippers then using Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends add a few strokes to form the flippers. Using the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends make two rosy cheeks.

8.     Add the finished penguin to the right side of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

9.     Add the sentiment to the bottom left side of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

10. Tie a bow and add to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.

11. Lastly, add three loose snowflakes to the card front using liquid glue.

Measurements:

·       Crumb Cake: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, folded then burnished with the Bone Folder (card base)

·       Basic White: 5 ½” x 8 ½”

·       Garden Green: ½” x 1 ½”

·       Linen Thread: 8”

 

Instructions:

1.     Using Crumb Cake ink, stamp speckle images across the center, front of the Crumb Cake card base. onto the 4” x 5” piece of Basic Beige cardstock and heat emboss using the clear embossing powder.

2.     Using the large circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, die cut a circle from the Basic White cardstock close to an edge. Stamp Mountain images towards the top of the circle piece using Pool Party ink, then adhere to the front of the card base over the speckled images.

3.     Die cut a the triangular tree from the Garden Green cardstock.

4.     Stamp a variety of trees using Garden Green ink onto the remaining Basic White cardstock; stamp some with the “stamp off” method to get varying shades of green. Then stamp a cabin using Early Espresso ink and the sentiment using Crumb Cake ink.

5.     Die cut the trees and cabin using the Snowy Wonder Dies and fussy cut the sentiment. Then adhere the trees and cabin inside the circle die in layers using various adhesives, with the top most pieces using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

6.     Tie a bow with the Linen Thread, attach it to the back of the sentiment, and the sentiment/bow piece to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.     Attach a few White Loose Snowflakes using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
