New at SU Blog Hop- Paper Tags Birthday Box & Card

 

Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and help get you crafting! We are showing you today some Birthday Creations!

I used the Paper Tags Bundle! 

This bundle does not "say" Happy Birthday but it has the perfect sayings to someone celebrating. 

I used the tag that says, "May your day be filled with Sunshine & Laughter". But I also could have used the stamp that says, "It's a wonderful day to celebrate you." 

I made a card and box to share with you today. 

This bundle includes 6 dies that fit perfectly with the stamps. 

Their is even a scallop tag that layers with the smaller tag. 

The Birthday card I made was simple. I used the DSP to guide what colors I used. 

I used the New In Color, Secret Sea, in place of a traditional black for the ink on the tag. 

When you die cut the tag it creates little hearts. I used those hearts as paper embellishments to the top right side of the card. 

Next is the gift box! This gift box measurements came from the Stampin' UP! event called Creativity Now. 

I LOVE how simple this box is and how perfectly it pairs with the Paper Tags. 

There is no "top or bottom" for this box. 

It is one piece of DSP, scored, and cut just right to make a box. 

For the box tag I stamped the tag twice and fussy cut the saying "your day" and popped it up with dimensionals to create a little more height to the tag. 

It is up to you what you put inside the gift box. Here are some of my suggestions!

 A gift card fits nicely, or you can fill with your favorite birthday candies! Even small gifts like, jewelry or ChapSticks would be ideal for this size of gift box.
