Tuesday's Tip at Ten- Celebrations Tag Dies
Tuesday's Tip at Ten comes from the Celebrations Tag Dies! I shared how to make this card yesterday for Miss Monday but need to share with you the tips on how to use the dies. To see that post just click here.
The dies comes with this awesome double tag that folds in half to create a front and back to the tag. But sometimes you only want the front of the tag (like when making a card). Don't waste paper and just die cut the tag by lining it up along the edge of the cardstock. Then use your Paper Snips or Paper Trimmer to trim off at the score line.
This die set comes with cute candles. Each candle die cuts out two candles, one with polka dots and one with stripes. On the die one candle is flipped upside down. So here is my tip on how to just die cut the flames in the Crush Curry paper. Get two stripes of paper (about 1/2 each) and space them apart about 1 inch. Lay the dies so that only the flames are on paper.

Backstage Gifts
Hands down, one of my favorite parts of Backstage was my roommates! These ladies are part of the Queens of the Stamp Age and are my side Sisters! Our common leader is Brandi Barnard and she took this photo for us on our Paddle Boat Tour on the Mississippi. Chelsey Christensen is on the left of me and Lynda Day is on the right of me! We stayed up late and laughed so hard that we cried! I truly love these women and was so lucky to be with them in New Orleans. It was like having a built in buddy at all times.
Each Day we would leave "pillow" gifts. These are suppose to me small and cute and usually have some form of stamping on them. Below are the ones I gave and then next are the ones they gave to me! I hope they inspire you to make paper gifts or a way to dress up a gift you want to give!
Gifts Made by Me
I found this popcorn at a Walmart in Colorado and knew I just had to get to because it is called Backstage!!!
I made the cute tag using the Celebrations Tag Dies and Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set. This tag dies with used with each gift and I embellished or stamped something that would match the gift.
I wrapped up a box of Beignet Mix (a famous French treat found in New Orleans and we at 5 different ones while we were there) with a cute spoon!
I couldn't resist these Happy Camper Hot Pads and made the cute tag from the sold out Sale-a-bration Dies, Tree Lot Dies.
I stamped on these canvas bags with the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and filled them with some Backstage essentials (chapstick, post it notes, and gum). I thought the saying worked perfectly for this event, "Today is a day to remember." and it sure was!
I gave this SIP cup from Starbucks to all of the Queens that were there! SIP in the Stampin' UP! world is known for Stamps, Ink, and Paper. Because that is how all of us started with just Stamps, Ink and Paper! Inside I gave them some glue dots!!! The other side of the cup matched perfectly with the Splendid Thoughts stamp set, but I forgot to take a picture of that!
Here is the tag close up!
Gifts Given to Me
Roommate Gifts
Lynda made this cute bear tag with Gummy Bears with the Happier Than Happy Bundle.
Lynda made this cute fox lotion tag with that same Happier Than Happy Bundle.
Lynda made this super cute Butterfly Chapstick with the Brilliant Wings Dies and the witch's hat treat box.
Chelsey gave me this really cool ink eraser.
Lynda also made this cute drink packet with the Cup of Tea Bundle.
Chelsey gave me this adhesive pack and adorable bag!
Chelsey gave me this great A Million Thanks Kit
Gifts from the Queens
Toni gave me this beautiful hand stamped fan.
Stampin' UP! Swag
Stampin' UP! gave us this fun tote bag to be used for easy swapping and craft room fun.
Inside the bag was 2 notebooks with an agenda of the events, tumbler, cute bag, beads, and name tag with beads.
I was truly blessed by this experience and these gifts were just the cherry on top!
Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
