Fun Fold Friday- Thanks a Bunch Sale-a-bration Card

Fun Fold Friday with the Thanks A Bunch Stamp Set and Dandy Designs DSP from the Sale-a-bration Flyer! This card was inspired by my friend, Cindy Hafner and you can see her card over on my post about Swaps

What makes this card so much fun is this extra POP of color that comes from the DSP in the inside of the card. It is like a cardbase comes together with another cardbase.

Open once and you see the DSP. Open again and you see a nice blank space to write a long message and the little bunches of carrots at the corner.

The carrots in this set is part of the 2 step stamping. Be sure to watch my video to see it in action!

Tuesday's Tip at Ten- Heart Punching

Tuesday's Tip at Ten deals with the Country Bouquet Punch but could work for any heart punch!

To get the most out of your your paper you want to cut a square and punch out the heart from each corner. The bigger the heart punch the bigger the square. I used a 3" x 3" square for the Country Bouquet Punch and just have the center leftover. I like this method because I don't punch out all the leaves at the same time as well.

Out of one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock I was able to get 35 hearts!
6- 3" x 3" = 24 hearts
3- 2 1/2" x 3"= 6 hearts
2" x 11"= 5 hearts

I made these for both my kids at school (TK and Kindergarten) and my kids at church!

I LOVE the way it turned out and use the Coastal Cabana for the heart, Granny Apple for the leaves, and stamped in Bermuda Bay.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!

Tuesday's Tip at Ten- Backless Ribbon

Tuesday's Tip at Ten!

Don't waste your ribbon by wrapping it around the whole back. Cut 1/2 to 1 inch longer than the piece of paper and attach the ends to the back with Tear Tape or Seal+. This also helps it lay flat with ease.

Here is my card from my Penny Crafter Tutorials collection using the Country Bouquet Stamp Set!
