Something Fancy Birthday Card

 


I made this card for the Stamp & Share Crew and LOVE how simple yet stunning it is! You can order all of the supplies to make this card from my online store using the link below.

Supplies:

 

·       Stamp Sets: Something Fancy (160416)

·       Card Stock and Paper:  Basic White Card Stock (159276); Soft Sea Foam Card Stock (146988); Fancy Flora 6” x 6”  Designer Series Paper (DSP) (160413)

·       Stamp Pads: Orchid Oasis Ink (159214)

·       Tools: Something Fancy Dies (160424); Painted Texture Embossing Folder (154317); Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)

·       Miscellaneous: Brushed Brass Butterflies (158136); Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon (160430); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Soft Sea Foam: 5 1/2” x 8 ½” scored @ 4 ¼”, 1” x 3”

·       Basic White: 5 1/2” x 4 ½”

·       DSP: 5 ¼” x 1 ¼”

·       Ribbon: about 10 inches

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Measure, score, and cut your paper using the measurements above with your Paper Trimmer.

2.     Die cut with the Something Fancy Dies the banner in Soft Sea Foam and stamp the “Happy Birthday” with the Orchid Oasis ink.

3.     Emboss the Basic White with Painted Texture Embossing Folder with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

4.     Glue the DSP to the Basic White onto the far-left side.

5.     Keep the ribbon on the spool and make a bow with at least 4 inches on the left side of the bow and 6 inches to the right of the bow. Place a glue dot on the back of the knot of the bow and place along the DSP edge. Glue the ends of the ribbon to the back of the Basic White with Stampin’ Seal. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and attach it to the card base.

6.     Attach the stamped banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto the Basic White near the bow.

7.     Embellish with 3 of the Brushed Brass Butterflies (see photos for placement).
