New at SU Blog Hop- CASE a Team Member

Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of StampinUp! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and help get you crafting! This month our challenge was to CASE another Team Member.

CASE has many meanings in the Stampin' World. For this hop the meaning is
Copy And Selectively Edit.
We could use the same color combo or layout, for example. The fun part is looking at both and seeing the differences and similarities. Can you find them all by looking at them side by side below?

You can see Amanda's Mertz original card over at her blog when you click HERE.

Similarities
- Colors: Timid Tiger, Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon, Coastal Cabana, Basic White, Basic Black
for cardstock & inks
Tools: We both used the Stylish Shapes Dies for the Basic White circle
-Layout: We both used 1 3/8" of cardstock to create the background

Differences
-Color: I added Poppy Parade
Tools: I added dies.  She used Embossing Powder and Stampin' Blends
Layout: I changed the position of the greeting and used multiple popcorn shapes for the stamping background instead of just one image
Stamp Set: I used the Poppin' By stamp set while she used the Along These Lines

I just love this little "popcorn" man with his glasses. But the key to the popcorn is stamping it twice in different colors and fussy cutting the popcorn to glue to the bucket.

To avoid cleaning a stamp set over and over, I used Stampin' UP!'s clear ink called Versamark to stamp the "pop" onto each piece of cardstock.

Keep on "poppin'" by the other hops to see who and how they were able to CASE a card!

I am happy to answer any questions about the techniques shown here! Please contact your StampinUp! demonstrator to make a product purchase. If you do not have a demonstrator, you can use the links below to order products from me or join my team.
