Spooky Halloween Easy Card

 


Need a quick, easy, and even kid friendly Halloween card? 
This design is for you! Let the Spooky Sweet do all of the work for you with the great die cuts, banners, and candy paper!

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Spooky Halloween (166192)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic Black (121045); Petunia Pop (163801); Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper (DSP) (166191)

·       Stamp Pads: Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (132708)

·       Tools: Paper Trimmer (152390)

·       Miscellaneous: Shimmer Star Foam Stickers (166202); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Petunia Pop: 5 ½” x 8 ½”  scored @ 4 ¼”, 1” x 2 1/4”

·       Basic Black: 5 5/8” x 4 1/8”

·       DSP: 4” x 5 ½”, 3” x 1”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Measure, score, and cut your paper.

2.     Stamp “No tricks all treats” onto the Petunia Pop 1” x 2 ¼” with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Fussy cut around the stamped words. Stamp also the inside of the card with the same ink the saying “Happy Halloween”.

3.     Cut around the banner piece of the DSP to make it 1” x 2 ¾”.

4.     Pop up of the Spooky Sweet DSP the die cuts of the hippo and bird.

5.     Assemble: Adhere the Basic Black to the DSP and attach all of that to the cardbase front. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the banner, the stamped greeting, and the DSP die cut creatures.

6.     Embellish with 3 of the Shimmer Stars in the Petunia Pop color by the banner.

Measurements:

 

·       Timid Tiger Card Stock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, 2” x 2”

·       Basic White Card Stock: 4” x 3”, 1 ½” x 1 ½”

·       Strawberry Slush Card Stock: 3 ¼” x 3/8”

·       DSP: 5 1/2” x 1 ½”

·       Metallic Paper: 1” x 1 ½”

 

Instructions:

1.     Fold the Timid Tiger Card Base in half to create your card.

2.     Adhere the DSP (designer series paper) to the left side of the card front.

3.     Die cut a small circle from Basic White using the Stylish Shapes Circle die (sized to fit the cupcake from “With You In Mind”). Also, die-cut the note paper shape from Basic White cardstock.

4.     Stamp the line stamp onto the note paper die cut using Memento Ink.

5.     Die-cut two sets of Timid Tiger arrows.

6.     Stamp “Happy Birthday” from the “Not 29 Anymore” set onto the strip of Strawberry Slush cardstock using Early Espresso ink. Cut the words apart and adhere them to the note paper die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7.     Die-cut the paper clip from the Dark Metallic Paper and adhere it to the note paper.

8.     Stamp the cupcake onto the circle by inking the cupcake base with Early Espresso and the frosting with Strawberry Slush. Adhere it to the note paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

9.     Arrange and adhere the Timid Tiger arrows to draw attention to the words and cupcake.

10. Add three Strawberry Slush gems to the card front.

11. Stamp the inside of the card and the envelope to coordinate.

Measurements:

·       Cloud Cover – 8 ½” x 4 ¼”, scored at 4¼”  on long side

·       Secret Sea – 5 ¼” x 4”

·       Basic White – 3” x 4”, 5 ¼” x 4”, scraps

·       Boho Vibes DSP – 2 ½” x 2”, 4” x 3/8”

·       Florals in Bloom DSP – 3” x 4”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Fold Cloud Cover card base on score line.

2.     Adhere Secret Sea panel that has been embossed using Forever Plaid Embossing Folder to card front, flat.

3.     Die-cut Florals in Boom DSP and Basic White panels using Just a Note Die.

4.     Adhere DSP panel to white panel, flat. Be sure to place them at an angle a bit, so you can see the underneath color.

5.     Die-cut a white paper clip from Just a Note die and adhere to these two panels.

6.     Adhere these to card front, at an angle, using Dimensionals.

7.     The letter U is die cut from the BoHo Vibes DSP, using the “U” from Party Alphabet dies.

8.     Adhere letter U to card front, using Dimensionals.

9.     Stamp the word “thank” on scrap white card stock, using Secret Sea ink, and fussy cut.

10. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals.

11. Adhere DSP strip to larger white cardstock panel.

12. Stamp sentiment on cardstock, using Cloud Cover ink.

13. Adhere to inside of card.

14. Adhere small strip of DSP to top of card.
