Easter Basket Treats

 

Here are my Easter treats for my co-workers!

 I used the Easter Basket Bundle, oval punch, retired mini egg cartons, and some Balmy Blue ribbons! 

I used the Easter Joy Designer Series Paper and played with different ribbons!

A single stamp on the oval and attached with a Dimensional, so it stays in place once the ribbon is removed!

·       Stamp Pads: Old Olive (147090), Smokey Slate (147113), Early Espresso (147114)

·       Tools: Nature’s Symphony Dies (166925)

·       Miscellaneous: Faux Bronze Pentagons (166931), Linen Thread (104199), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Early Espresso 8 ½ x 5 ½ (card base)    

·       Designer Series Paper (script) 4 x 5 ¼

·       Textured Paper 2 ¼ x 5 ¼  

·       Very Vanilla 2 ¾ x 3 ¾

·       Early Espresso 3 x 4

·       Designer Paper (grid) 2 ¼ x ¾

·       Designer Paper for dicutting

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Add Natural Hues to DSP and attach to card base

2.     Stamp “sketch” stamp in Smokey Slate on Very Vanilla (stamp off as needed)

3.     Stamp leaves in Old Olive (stamp off as needed)

4.     Add Vanilla to Early Espresso

5.     Wrap Linen Thread about layer and tie bow.  Attach layer to card base

6.     Add leaves using Mini Glue Dots

7.     Stamp sentiment on grid DSP, tear edge (if you like) and adhere to card using Dimensionals

8.     Add pentagons as desired

Measurements:

 

·       Secret Sea CS: 7¼” x 5½”, scored at 3”

·       Crumb Cake CS: 2¾” x 5¼”

·       Nature’s Walk DSP: 1” x 5¼”; Piece for leaf die cut

·       Vellum 12x12 Specialty Paper: Piece for leaf die cut

·       Basic White CS: 2¾” x 5¼” (inside); piece for circle punch

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Crease the Secret Sea CS at 3” to form the shorter front of the cardbase.

2.     Die cut the cross-hatch design in the upper left and lower right of the Crumb Cake CS. Die cut large leaves from the Nature’s Walk DSP and the Vellum Specialty Paper.

3.     Adhere the vellum (first) and Nature’s Walk DSP die cut leaves to the Crumb Cake CS using the Mini Glue Dots.

4.     Punch the Basic White CS circle and stamp the sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink. Then punch the slots on each side using the Hole Punch Assortment punches. Thread 3¼” (at minimum) piece of Secret Sea ribbon through the slots. Apply the circle to the front of the Crumb Cake CS and wrap the extra ribbon behind the Crumb Cake CS and adhere with Mini Glue Dots. Then adhere the Crumb Cake CS to the front flap of the card and add the Faux Bronze Pentagons.

5.     Adhere the strip of Nature’s Walk DSP to the right side of the exposed cardback.

6.     Stamp the inside piece (leaves in the lower left) of Basic White CS and adhere to the inside.

Now that Onstage is over, I can share with you some of the gifts I made for this event! 

A Paper Pen holder is a fun way to use up your pretty paper and give as a small gift! 

You can make it too with these measurements! 

Measurements

DSP: 6" x 6" 

Score @ 1 1/2", 3", ad 4 1/2"

1. Fold the top right corner and bottom right corner to the first score line to create a triangle.

2. Fold the top left corner to the second score line. 

3. Fold the DSP on the score lines and use adhesive or ribbon to secure the back tab.

I created this honey Fun Fold using the DSP and fussy cut the honey bear. 

This card was part of my Mega Stamp Camp and there is still space available for the Live Facebook event this weekend (kits are no longer available). Click HERE for more details. 

I used the DSP for the panels and for the bottom of the mini card. 

I even used the embellishments to have the 3 dots by the honey bear. 

I used the stamp for the greeting and for the jar of honey in the corner of the inside of the card. 

The only dies I used was the spoon top and the jar opening to slide the spoon into. 

The only thing I didn't use part of this suite was the ribbon and embossing folder.
