Manly Monday- Waterfront Cards

Today's Manly Monday I used the Waterfront stamp set by ©Stampin' UP! but I really wanted to focus on using different Embossing folders to add texture and to change the look. Look through each card and I'll list the embossing folder used below it. Then scroll down to the bottom to see the supplies you can buy from my online store, measurements, and steps.

All Four Cards together showing how embossing folders can change the look and add so much with doing very little.

Measurements
Cardbase: Night of Navy 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
Early Espresso 4 x 5 1/4
Night of Navy 3 3/4 x 5
Inside: Whisper White 4 x 5 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure, Cut and score cardstock.
  2. Run through your die cutting machine the Gold Foil with the biggest 90 degree triangle from the Stitched Triangle Dies.
  3. Run the Medium circle from the Stitched Shapes through your die cutting machine in Whisper White.
  4. Run the Night of Navy through as well using any embossing folder you choose.
  5. Stamp a mountain scene on your stitched circle with the Early Espresso Ink and the Night of Navy for the Trees. Stamp trees on the Whisper White Inside piece and glue to the inside of the cardbase.
  6. Emboss "Happy Birthday" from the Someone Special stamp set using versa mark ink and gold embossing powder and Heating Tool.
  7. Glue together your layers. Place your gold triangle in the bottom right corner and attach the stamped circle with dimenionals on one side and glue on the gold side (this helps it look even) and you have one Manly Card (recipe is easy to double).

Happy Stampin' Everyone!
