Fun Fold Friday-Whale Done Spinner Card

Fun Fold Friday but with a spin!! That is, a spinner card with the Whale Done stamp set and DSP. Be sure to watch the video to see this card in action and give this Fun Fold a spin your self! It is way easier than it looks.

You can make this card too by visiting my online store and getting the whole suite (click on link below) and following the steps by scrolling down.

Supplies
Whale Done Stamp Set
Whale Builder Punch
Whale of Time DSP
Basic Gray Ink and CS
Pacific Point CS
Whisper White CS
Basic Black CS (just a scrap)
Layering Circles Dies
Tear Tape
*Grandma's Golden Thread

Always Recommended
Paper Snips
Trimmer
Simply Shammy
Die Cutting Machine
Bone Folder
Adhesives

Measurements
Cardbase Pacific Point:  5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4 and scored @ 2 1/8
DSP: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 scored @ 2 1/8

Steps
  1. Measure and cut all your cardstock using your paper trimmer.
  2. Make your whale by punching out 2 of each. You'll be making 2 whales but one will be the opposite direction. Use Whisper White for the belly. Basic Gray for the body and flipper. Basic Black for the eyes. Glue them all together and stamp in Basic Gray the spots for the Whale Done Stamp set.
  3. Lay your DSP over your cardbase (use post-it notes to help lay down) on the inside left side of your score line and run the largest Layering Circle Die over both cardbase and DSP.
  4. Cut another piece of DSP with the circle for the inside of the card.
  5. Flip cardbase over, so you are looking at the inside and put tear tape on the score lines.
  6. Attach your thread of choice (I used my Grandma's old golden thread) to the tear tape and attach one whale to the thread with tear tape as well. Use liquid glue to attach the other whale over it.
  7. Glue down the DSP with liquid glue and use your bone folder on the score lines.
  8. Close it and see where you can line up your other DSP you cut out with the circle die and stamp your staying in Basic Gray or  Memento Ink in the bottom right corner.
  9. Twirl your whale and close him shut and open again to watch him spin. Be sure to "set" it before you place in an envelope so he spins when he opens!

Happy Stampin' Everyone!
