Manly Monday- Mountain Air

Today's Four Manly Monday cards were inspired completely from a Pinterest fine from another demo named Shannon Lorenz Hatch. The only thing I changed was the saying which came from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set by ©Stampin' UP! She gave me great detail and was easy to recreate!

I love the inside mountains too. I didn't reink the sponge but just used the leftovers which created a very faint coloring.

This looks like a scene right out of the Rocky Mountains and I know a lot of my family members (who live there) will love getting it!

Here are all four cards. Because it dealt with sponging all are slightly different from each other.
You can make these cards too by shopping at my online store (be sure to use this month's hostess code 36W6KSM2) and by following the directions below.
You can follow this link to take you straight to the stamp set.

Measurements
Thick Whisper White Cardbase: 11 x 4 1/4 scored @ 5 1/2

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your cardbase.
  2. Run Whisper White through your Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine (Your boss) with the largest Stitched Nested Label die.
  3. Stamp the mountains on Cinnamon Cider CS with Cinnamon Cider ink and die cut it out. (Stamp the inside of the cardbase with the mountains too, but just in the corner).
  4. Use a scrap of paper and attach your full adhesive post-it note. Use your 1 inch circle punch and punch out. Separate the post-it note from the scrap and put the post it note on the Nested Label cut out where ever you want your sun to be.
  5. Use your sponge and the Mango Melody and sponge in circular motion around the "sun". Then sponge in Cherry Cobbler the edges. Come back over with the Mango Melody sponge and blend the two colors together and to make an orange hue.
  6. Stamp with Memento Black ink your little birds.
  7. Remove the post-it note. Place inside card base and without inking the sponge make another sunset image. Remove post-it note.
  8. Glue on the Cinnamon Cider Mountains on the bottom and cut off any mountains that hang over by flipping over the label and following the label lines.
  9. Attach with dimensionals to the card base and stamp you saying below the image using the Cinnamon Cider ink.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!
