Wednesday Kit Class- Christmas Stitched Triangle Trees

Stamp set So Many Stars


Measurements
Thick Whisper White Cardbase: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Whisper White: 4 x 5 1/4 
Whisper White: 3/4 x 3 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure and cut paper.
  2. Emboss the Whisper White 4 x 5 1/4 with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
  3. Heat emboss with Gold embossing powder "Season's Greetings!".
  4. Die cut 2 Triangles. One in Vellum and one in Brush Metallic Foil. Emboss the vellum with the Wrapped in Texture folder.
  5. With the Stitched Stars die cut stars in vellum. 
  6. Flick Wink of Stella over the Whisper White.
  7. Attach your triangle trees with glue dots for the vellum and dimensionals for the Brush Gold tree. 
  8. Attach the Season Greetings with dimensionals over the vellum stars. 
  9. Embellish around the trees with Champagne Rhinestones and Vellum stars. (See Video).

Measurements
Crumb Cake Cardbase: 11 x 4 1/4 scored @ 5 1/2

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your paper.
  2. Using the Stitched Triangle dies cut 3 triangles for each tree using Warm Hugs DSP, Pear Pizzaz CS, and Mossy Meadow CS. Cut out the trunk with Early Espresso.
  3. Die cut with the Rectangle die (the largest one) Crumb Cake. Ink up the edges with Crumb Cake. 
  4. Stamp in Early Espresso "be merry". 
  5. Wrap linen thread around twice the rectangle base. 
  6. Build the trees with liquid glue and then attach with glue or dimensionals to the Crumb Cake. 
  7. Attach piece to cardbase with dimensionals! :)

Measurements
Real Red Cardbase: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
DSP: 4 x 5 1/4
Crumb Cake: 2 1/2 x 1/2

Steps
  1. Measure and cut cardstock and DSP.
  2. Stamp in Shaded Spruce "Happy Christmas" on the Crumb Cake.
  3. Die cut 5 shades of green triangles and a gold triangle in the smallest triangle. 
  4. Glue each layer onto of each other and tie a bow out of linen thread. Add the Crumb Cake trunk.
  5. Attach tree and label with dimensionals
*Shades of Green: Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzaz, Old Olive, Garden Green, Shaded Spruce.

Gift Card Holder




Measurements
Real Red Cardstock: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Cut from the bottom left 2 1/2 over to the score line
Cut from the top of the score line to the 2 1/2 mark (discard piece)
DSP Front: 4 2 1/4
DSP Top: 4 x 2 3/4
Whisper White Inside: 4 x 2 1/4
DSP Inside: 4 x 1 1/2


Steps
  1. Measure and cut your paper.
  2. Stamp on both your Whisper Whites. One in Mossy Meadow (North Pole Delivery) and one in Real Red. 
  3. Using 1 inch circle punch, punch a half circle in the middle of the 4 x 1 1/2 DSP. Use tear tape on the bottom and glue dots for the top corners to attach to the inside of the card. See video. 
  4. Die Cut 3 trees out of 3 different colors and emboss two of them with the Wrapped in Texture folder.
  5. Glue 2 trees on the front of the cardbase and then glue down the DSP. Glue down your last tree and cover slightly with the "North Pole" piece. Use dimensionals to attach that label. 
  6. Inside of card, glue your DSP for the Top and glue in your Whisper White with the stamped saying. Add gift card and you are done!
