Manly Monday- Whale Done Thanks a Ton Cards

Four Manly Monday cards turned into 20! I loved this design so much that I decided to make it for my up coming Onstage at Home Swaps. At Stampin' UP! Onstage events we usually do lots of in person swapping but because Onstage is at Home this year, I am sending swaps in the mail about a week before the event. This card is for the Queens Fun Fold and I made 20 of them using the Whale Done stamp set and the Whale of a Time DSP (on sale in October).

All 20 cards in my hand.

There is something so satisfying seeing all 20 lined up from the side all looking the same.

Here are the four cards for Manly Monday in 3 different DSP designs.

Looks so normal, but the fun part is how it opens up!

It can stand up just fine by it self.

Inside of the card with just a little stamping in the corner to finish it off.

You can make this card too! Just order the supplies from my online store and follow the steps below.

Supplies
Whale Done Stamp set
Whale of a Good Time Paper
Pretty Peacock CS & Ink
Whisper White CS
Gray Granite CS & Ink
Layering Circle Dies
Dog Punch (for the heart)
Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon

Always Recommended
Paper Snips
Trimmer
Simply Shammy
Die Cutting Machine
Bone Folder
Adhesives

Measurements
Pretty Peacock Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4, cut 2 inches up to the score line.
Gray Granite & Whisper White: 3 1/4 x 4
DSP: 3 x 3 3/4

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut out your layering circles in Whisper White and Gray Granite (one size larger in a scallop circle).
  3. Stamp your "Thanks a Ton" in Pretty Peacock onto your Whisper White circle. Stamp the little whale specks above the words. Then attach with dimensionals to the scallop Gray.
  4. Stamp in Pretty Peacock on your Whisper White for the inside (pick any sea item from the set) on the right bottom corner.
  5. Punch out a Pretty Peacock heart from the Dog punch and attach with a glue dot (this will make it pop up a little but not too much). Wink of Stella that little heart out if you want to add some glitter.
  6. Tie on some Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon around the 2 inch cut out on the card base. Tie a knot or a bow and will need at least 6 inches (more for the bow).
  7. Glue down that 2 inch cardbase flap. Glue in your Whisper White. Glue your Gray Granite with your DSP and glue it to the front of the cardbase.
  8. Use your bone folder to help you lay it out nicely and you are done, Whale Done! *For added fun stamp an image from the set on the back of your card. I used the baby seahorse.
Here is an old video link of mine showing how to make a card using this Fun Fold. Watch it by clicking below.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
