Team Kit-Love of Leaves



I just started a new activity with my team, called Team Kits. Each month they have the option to buy the $10 paper kit that I design and make up. Then everyone from my team is invited to stamp along or watch the Facebook Live video where I teach them how to make cards with their kit. My goal is to teach them something new or provide an easy made class for them to do with their customers. I shared with them this month a kit using the Love of Leaves stamp set and the  12 x 12 Glided Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). This layout uses some basic card layouts using 12 x 12 paper. Below each card you'll see how many cards you could make with a 12 x 12 paper and that card design.

Love of Leaves Stamp Set
Stitched Leaves Dies
Glided Autumn DSP
Tasteful Label Dies
Very Vanilla CS
Cajun Craze CS & Ink
Mint Macaron CS & Ink
Early Espesso CS & Ink
Champagne Rhinestones
Ribbons: Basket Weave & Metallic Combo pack, Faux Suede Trim and Braided Linen Trim

Makes 16 cards with a 12 x 12 DSP


Measurements
Old Olive Cardbase: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Whisper White: 4 x 5 1/4
DSP: 5 1/4 x 1 1/2

Steps
  1. Measure and cut all your paper.
  2. Die cut your label and stamp in Mint Macaron.
  3. Die cut your leaf with the Stitched Leaves dies a Cajun Craze leaf and use the Autumn punches to make the little Mint leaf.
  4. Glue your DSP the the far right of the Very Vanilla panel.
  5. Attach your Mint Macaron ribbon right where the dsp and Whisper White meet. Use tear tape on the front or attach it to the back.
  6. Use dimensionals to attach your label, and leaves.
  7. Embellish with the Champagne Rhinestones.


Makes 12 cards with a 12 x 12 sheet of DSP

Measurements
Cajun Craze Cardbase:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Early Espesso: 4 1/4 x 3 1/4
DSP: 4 x 3

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut in Very Vanilla the label and stamp your saying in Mint Macaron.
  3. Die cut in Mint Macaron another label (different size) from the Tasteful Label Dies.
  4. Glue the Vanilla label to the Mint label.
  5. Glue your rectangle pieces together and tie the Copper ribbon around it with just a knot. Glue to cardbase.
  6. Attach label over ribbon with dimensionals
  7. Embellish with Champagne Rhinestones. 


Makes 8 cards with a 12 x 12 sheet of DSP


Measurements
Very Vanilla Thick Cardbase: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Mint Macaron: 5 1/2 x 3 1/4
DSP: 5 1/2 x 3

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut 3 labels with the Tasteful Dies. One in Very Vanilla, one in Mint Macaron, and one in Vellum. 
  3. Die cut a leaf in Cajun Craze.
  4. Stamp in Mint Macaron on your Vanilla label. 
  5. Cut your mint label in half and glue on the back of the Vanilla label. 
  6. Use dimensionals and attach the vellum label. 
  7. Glue your Mint Cardstock with your dsp and then tie Braided Linen Trim around with a knot. Fray the ends of the ribbon. Attach to card base.
  8. Attach label with glue dots and the leaf with a dimenional.




Makes 16 cards with a 12 x 12 sheet of DSP


Measurements
Early Espesso Cardbase: 11 x 4 1/4 scored @ 5 1/2
DSP: 3 x 3
Very Vanilla: 4 1/2 x 3 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut your labels in Very Vanilla and Mint Macaron. Stamp in Cajun Craze on your vanilla label. 
  3. Glue your DSP to your Vanilla Cardstock and attach Faux Suede ribbon. Have two pieces of ribbon and tie one to the other forming a knot. (See video. 
  4. Glue to cardbase and attach label with dimensionals.
  5. Embellish with Champagne Rhinestones.
