Did you know that Stampin' UP! sells empty plastic cases? They have two sizes; Full Wood-Mount and Clear-Mount. These cases are perfect for storing Stampin' UP! products such as adhesives and embellishments. I used the Full Wood-Mount cases to make these cute storage boxes for my embellishments and adhesives. You get 4 cases for $10 (click on the link to order today or to see more information on these cases).
They are really easy to make and personalize as well with your choice of 12 x 12 DSP and the Playful Alphabet Dies. Here is how to make your own storage cases!
Measurements
DSP: 11 1/4 x 7 scored at 5 1/8 from each end
Steps
- Measure and cut your DSP. I used World of Good and Ornate Garden.
- Cut out letters in any card stock color using your Playful Alphabet dies.
- Glue on with liquid glue (keep it straight or go crazy) the letters between the score lines. Tip: measure to the 3 1/2 mark and put your middle letter there. Work your way from center to ends to help with spacing. Always place first and glue after you have the placement right.
- Slide into the case between the plastic cover (no glue needed).
- Fill with adhesives or flat embellishments!
Inside you can see the fun other side of the Ornate Garden DSP. I only put flat embellishments in the case and can fit at least 10 at a time.
Inside is a map from the World of Good DSP. I have fit 2 packs of dimensionals, 1 tear tape, and tombow adhesive inisde here.
They are easy to stack onto or slide onto a shelf like a book or like your stamp sets. They are also easy to grab on the go for when you are traveling with your supplies. Hope this helps you with your stamping storage needs and you make one today!
Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
