Dragonfly Garden Cards

 

At Onstage at Home 2020 we had the extra perk to order the Dandy Garden Suite before the event and be part of the Stamp and Share Experience. One of our favorite things to do at Onstage is the Make N Takes. This year, since we were at home for the event, but still really wanted to stamp and this was a great way to do it! They gave us a pdf with the measurements and the paper prints we would be using and then we stamped along with Donna Griffith Friday morning. I love how the cards turned out and loved trying new DSP layouts. This stamp set and suite is not available to the public until January, when the new Mini Catalog comes out, BUT you can order early as a Demonstrator in December. In fact, you could get this part of your Stampin' UP! Starter Kit! Just click on the "Join My Team" above in December!  I've added a bonus card that I made as part of my "After Party Team Swap" at the bottom with a tutorial.

I love the layering of this card and the use of the little dragonflies.

Can you see the cute little ladybugs in the corner!!?? They are so cute and easy to attach with glue dots!

This was my favorite color combo and I love the dragonfly shadow and the use of the punched out dragonfly from the DSP.

This one I made for my team After Party Swap and wanted it to match the Lanyards I made for them and the colors that came on the Onstage bag.

Inside I stamped the dragonfly in the corner and used the "wing color in stamp" which is not suppose to match perfectly. Of course I used some wink of stella to make the wings sparkle.

Measurements

Misty Moonlight Cardbase: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Whisper White: 4 1/2 x 3 1/8 times 2

3/4 x 2 1/4 

10 Strips: 1/2 x 4

Steps

1. Measure and cut paper with the paper trimmer. 
2. Stamp your saying in Misty Moonlight on your 3/4 x 2 1/4 Whisper White and use the Pick a Banner Punch on one end.
3. Using tombow glue, glue down your strips of paper. Cut off the ends and then run through your Stampin' Cut and Emboss "Big Boss" with the stitched rectangle die.
4. Glue that to your second piece of Whisper White and using the VersaMark clear ink, stamp your flowers along the bottom and dragonfly over in the top right corner. 
5. Attach your label with dimensionals and attach the main strip piece with dimensionals to the cardbase. 
6. Punch out with the Dragonflies Punch the mini dragonflies and attach with glue dots after you fold it in off. 
7. Be sure to stamp a dragonfly in the inside onto a 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White.
