Miss Monday- Stitched Triangle Birthday Card

This year I am trying to increase my Birthday card stash for all the ladies in my life. From the ages of 0 to 110! All year long I'll share two cards each Monday with the same layout (with small variations). You can search my Facebook page for all of these cards using #MissMonday . I am super excited and can't wait to create with you all year long.

My first Miss Monday Birthday cards are below and use the Stitched Triangles Dies.

You can order these from my online store by clicking the link below.

I always will make 2 cards when I can (have enough paper supplies) because one sheet of cardstock makes 2 and it is a great way to double what I make with very little effort. It also gives me the chance to switch up the "look" a little bit. With these two cards I changed the spacing of the triangles so one has a white border and the other has the triangle touching the next triangle. I also used dimensionals on one to pop up the whole triangle panel.

This card is pretty simple as it uses a monochromatic look with the Purple Posy color.

I think this would make a great teenage girl card! Purple was my favorite color for many years as a little girl and youth and hope I can send this to someone who loves purple just as much!

You can make this card too by shopping at my online store and using the supplies & steps below.

Supplies
Stitched Triangle Dies
Peaceful Moments stamp set
In Color DSP 2019-2021
Purple Posy Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Rhinestones
Highland Heather Ink

Always Recommended
Paper Snips
Trimmer
Simply Shammy
Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine
Bone Folder
Adhesives

Measurements
Purple Posy Cardbase: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Whisper White: 4 x 5 1/4

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut the Stitched Triangles using the Purple Posy DSP with your Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine. You'll need about 5 of them. Cut out one small Triangle out of Purple Posy to stamp your Happy Birthday on (just make sure your triangle is big enough for whatever greeting you are using).
  3. Glue with tombow liquid glue or use dimensionals to attach your triangles to the Whisper White. Start with the left side and work your way over. Cut off extra DSP from both sides.
  4. Stamp in Highland Heather your Birthday saying. I used Peaceful Moments for my Happy Birthday, but any Happy Birthday that fits will work. Attach your Birthday triangle with dimensionals.
  5. Embellish with at least 3 rhinestones and use bone folder to help fold the card at the score line.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
