Shark Frenzy Cards

I knew the moment I saw this stamp set that I was going to get it! It is the cutest thing and so right on trend right now with the beloved or hated "Baby Shark" song! Then, my 10 year old Hudson saw it and he wanted me to get it too! This bundle takes a little more patience because it has 2 step stamping, dies, and lots of accessories but if you love Paper Dolls as a girl you will love this stamp set too! Of course you could stamp directly on the paper and not worry about the die cuts but let's be honest, those dies are soo cool and are literally at an amazing price!!! Scroll down and learn some of tips and tricks when working with this set.

 Grandma & Grandpa Shark

This Grandpa and Grandma "I love you!" card is a perfect card to send if you are a grandparent or even a perfect one to send as a grandchild!

I love how you can "dress up" these sharks to make them what you want them to be. Grandpa Shark has stamped and die cut mustache. Along with his Basic Black hat and cane (just die cut out). Grandma Shark has her cute Magenta Madness lips (stamped with ink). Her hat and purse were stamped, colored with blends, and die cut out. That is right! No fussy cutting here! They are both sporting the cute glasses that have been stamped and you guessed it, die cut out.

Baby Shark

This sweet card would make the perfect new Baby card! With baby shark, Mommy and Daddy. I used my new blending brush to get that perfect Pool Party water look behind our cute shark family.

This set even comes with waves and bubbles. The bubbles can be tricky to glue on and so I used the adhesive sheets to make my bubbles into stickers! This was a perfect solution for my gluing problem and die cut them out together. It was especially smart for the vellum bubbles I made with the Grandparent sharks.

Measurements
Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4
Whisper White: 4 x 5 1/4
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (to stamp sharks on)

Steps
  1. Cut and score your cardbases in Pacific Point and in Smoky Slate.
  2. Use your *blending brush and Pool Party ink and blend in the center of your 4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White. Then stamp in Basic Gray your sayings on the top and bottoms.
  3. On your 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Whisper White stamp all your sharks and accessories.  You can use the Memento Ink or the Basic Gray for sharks.
  4. Baby Shark: Pacific Point stamped off and Pacific Point bow tie.
  5. Grandpa & Daddy Shark: Smoky Slate Ink. Glasses, hat and cane (die cuts from one die) for Grandpa and Daddy has a Pacific Point Tie (save the bow tie for the baby)
  6. Mommy Shark: Flirty Flamingo Ink, Pool Party Necklace. I stamped her bow with the Pool Party ink and then colored with the Pool Party Blends.
  7. Grandma Shark: Pool Party ink for body. Magenta Madness for lips. Memento glasses. Basic Gray purse and hat colored with stamping blends.
  8. Die cut all of your sharks and accessories using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. Glue or use dimensionals to attach the sharks to the card front.
  9. Put adhesive sheet on the back of a scrap of Pool Party and Vellum and die cut out the bubbles. Remove adhesive back and attach to card front.
  10. Glue the Whisper White card front to the cardbase and use bone folder to help with the score line.

Blending Brush Tip
*When using the new blending brush you'll rub it or pat it into your ink pad, tap a little off unto a scratch paper and then blend in circular movements onto your paper. This will help create the color you want and avoid harsh lines. You can always add more color but it hard to take it away.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
