Wednesday's Kit Class- Handsomely Suited

I can't tell you enough how much I love this Handsomely Suited stamp set and Suit & Tie Dies!!! There are so many great card ideas out there with it! I had shared earlier two of the cards above but did not give directions on how to make or order those products until now!!! Because this is part of my Wednesday's Kit Class you can order $35 worth of Stampin' UP! product from my online store by Friday (January 15th) and get this kit for FREE from me. The kit includes all the paper products needed to make the cards and you need to buy the stamp set and ink separately.

I used a smaller stitched rectangle body to make it fit better on this horizontal card.

Measurements
Thick Basic White Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
DSP: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Die cut your 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 DSP with the "V" shape die. Be sure to have it over the top edge just a little.
  3. Die cut your lapels, and pocket line with the DSP.
  4. Die cut in Basic White the "V" shape and the collar.
  5. Die cut your Tie in DSP or stamp on Real Red.
  6. Die cut Basic Gray buttons.
  7. Handkerchief: there are lots of ways to make the pocket handkerchief. I stamped two ends of the tie and cut them to fit. You could also use DSP and cut it from the pocket shape. OR you could use the collar die cut and create an handkerchief with that.
  8. Once everything is cut out assemble your suit. See video for gluing tips.
