Miss Monday-Pretty Perennials & Butterfly Brilliance Cards

 

Today's Miss Monday Cards are extra special! Not only did I make these for my Royal Hearts team members but I used a NEW Dies and paper that isn't available until tomorrow (March 2nd). The dies are called Brilliant Wings Dies. They can cut out all 6 butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou DSP all at once. This paper is only while supplies last, but the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp set is an early release for the new Annual Catalog coming out in May. 

I used the Pretty Perennials stamp set to get the Happy Mail saying and the leaf image.

There are 6 different sizes and colors of the butterflies on the Butterfly Bijou paper. Which is your favorite?

The dies line up perfectly to cut out the butterflies. This make for easy card making! No coloring, no stamping, and easy cutting. Once you run out of paper you can do the same thing with the stamp set. Stamp it once, color it all, and cut it all out at the same time.

The die it self is one big image but the Brilliant Wings Dies come with more detailed dies as well.

I used a special die at the bottom left corner of this card where it created a little brick like look. 

Look closely at that top Butterfly. I made him with the Natural Touch Specialty paper that is also available while supplies last starting March 2nd. It has a very natural light wood look it it and is amazing! 

I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to stamp the Happy onto. and is one of my favorite dies to use.

To embellish I used the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems. These were so popular in the Holiday Catalog that they carried over.

That corner DSP is also from the Butterfly Bijou DSP. Available March 2nd.

The yellow Butterfly maybe my favorite with all of his big, beautiful wing glory! You can make these cards too but ordering from my online store and following the directions below.

Measurements

Just Jade Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4

DSP: 2 x 5 1/2

Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4

Steps

1. Measure, score and cut your paper. 
2. Die cut/Emboss the bottom left corner of the Basic White with the brick like image from the dies. Stamp on the right corner in Just Jade the leaf. Glue inside the cardbase.
3. Die cut your butterflies from the DSP. Pick one to use. 
4. Die cut your Stitched Nested Label in Basic White and stamp Happy in Just Jade. Stamp Mail in Coral on a scrap of Basic white and cut to size. 
5. Die cut a little detail butterfly with the Natural Touch Paper. 
6. Glue your DSP to the cardbase front. 
7. Stamp in Just Jade your leaf images. Then attach with dimensionals the Happy Label. Use one mini dimensional on the "Mail" and place far right side only. 
8. Attach your butterfly with adhesive on one half and a dimensional with the half that isn't on the label. 
9. Glue your wooden butterfly with liquid glue.
10. Embellish with the blue adhesive backed gems.
