** For all of my saying I stamped ONCE with the Many Messages stamp set onto Basic White with Night of Navy ink and die cut them all out at the same time. Then I'm just picking whichever one I want to finish each card.
This card features how you can use that big stamp as a background image. The butterfly was also stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends but you could use the DSP for this butterfly image here (see video). This card was cased from Stampin' UP! with some mild changes.
You can make this beautiful blue butterfly card too by following the directions below and ordering from my online store.
Measurements
Seaside Spray Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Steps
- Measure, score, and cut your cardbase.
- Die cut a stitched Rectangle out of Seaside Spray.
- Die cut a stitched circle out of vellum.
- Stamp your butterfly on Basic White and Die cut out OR die cut your butterflies from the DSP.
- Color Butterfly with blends.
- Using the F block or your stamperatus and Misty Moonlight ink, stamp onto your large stitched rectangle all of the butterflies. Attach to cardbase with dimensionals.
- Attach the vellum and butterfly with a glue dot.
- Make a twine nest and attach with glue dots over the butterfly.
- **Use one of the Many Messages and attach with mini dimensionals.
- Embellish with the Holiday Rhinestones.
This card features that amazing Natural Touch specialty paper, the Butterfly DSP, and how to sponge/blend on your butterfly to color it in. There are also some fun dies used on the corners of the Natural Touch that came with the Brilliant Wings Dies.
You can make this card too! Just shop with me at my online store and follow the directions below.
Measurements
Basic White Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Natural Touch DSP: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Butterfly Bijou DSP: 3 x 5
Steps
- Measure, score, and cut your paper.
- Use the embossed/brick die on the left bottom corner and top right corner of the Natural Touch paper. Attach to the front of the cardbase.
- Wrap the Misty Moonlight twine twice around your Butterfly DSP and tie a bow. Attach it with dimensionals onto the cardbase front.
- Die cut your stitched circle and attach it with dimensionals.
- Stamp in Misty Moonlight ink onto basic white paper your butterflies and die cut them all out (or just the one but using a smaller piece of paper).
- Use a sponge or your blending brush and blend Magenta Madness on the top of the butterfly and Just Jade on the bottom. Then attach with a glue dot.
- Adding your **saying the edge of the circle and embellish with Blue Adhesive Backed Gems.
This card is really just featuring the Brilliant Wings Dies. They have so much detail and can be used to layer over a butterfly or even stand alone like they do in this card. I also used the brick die cut to create that fun peek-a-boo through the paper where you can see the Butterfly Bijou DSP.
You could use any color to create your butterflies. I was inspired by the colors used in the Butterfly Bijou paper, which is only available for a limited time (not in the Annual Catalog this May).
Here is a close up of the brick dies with the paper behind them.
You can make this card too! Just watch my video for some helpful hints, shop at my online store and follow the steps below.
Measurements
So Saffron Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Basic White: 4 x 5 1/4

- Die cut 5 butterflies in 5 different sizes and colors. I used Just Jade, Mint Macaroon, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, and Brushing Bride (largest to smallest).

- Glue on your butterflies starting in the bottom left corner and working your way up.
