Miss Monday- DSP Flip Cards

Today's Miss Monday Cards are one of my favorite kind of cards...DSP Flip Cards! What is a DSP Flip card you may ask? It is where I take a piece of Designer Series Paper and cut it down to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece. I then do one more cut at 1 3/4 and flip that piece to create a card showing both sides of the DSP. This method isn't new but has remained for the test of time. Your flip cut can vary depending on how you want it to look. Also, you choose which side to flip. Top or bottom? Below I have an example of both!  I did use the Sweet Symmetry DSP which is on sale through the end of July.

You could use any stamp set and saying for this layout. I used the Tasteful Touches
stamp set.

I also used the New In Color Vellum for the little leaf and used the Christmas Trimming Dies.

I like to create a "separation" between the DSP with either a piece of paper or some ribbon. I used a 1 x 4 inch piece of Night of Navy for these cards.

Here is what it looks like when you flip the top instead. Which do you like better? You really can't lose with this paper and I absolutely LOVE this color scheme. These are "so Rachael" colors. Fun fact, this paper is part of a stamp set suite that includes dies too. But I don't own either yet!!! Crazy right!

You can make these cards with ease by following the steps below and by shopping for all of the supplies off of my online store.
