Tuesday's Tip at Ten: Bring Cards to Work on While You Wait

I don't know about you, but the Summer time is when we do a lot of our children's "appointments". Doctor appointments, dentist appointments, and orthodontic appointments times 4. I find myself often in a waiting room. Instead of scrolling through things numbly on my phone while I wait in the waiting rooms I've started to bring a bag of cards to prep to send out in the mail. I try to send out LOTS of happy mail (handmade cards) each month, which as much as I love doing it, takes time. So when I find these nuggets of time with not much to do, is the perfect time to write messages to my friends. I was able to prep over 15 cards while I was waiting! Here is what I brought in my gallon size baggie:
-post it notes
-joke book (I send a joke with each Birthday card, it also worked as something hard to write on)
-pen
-envelopes (have address on them or bring your address book)
-10-20 cards to pick from
-address labels
-stamps (postage)
-washi tape (I like to put it on the back of the envelope when they are ready to send)
-my print out "birthday" message that talks about reusing the card I sent them to spread more Birthday cheer

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
