Fun Fold Friday- Double Fan Fold

 

Fun Fold Friday Double Fan Fold with the Sale-a-bration Beautifully Penned DSP. I learned how to make this fold from the talented Carole Baumgartner. 

This card opens up to a fun triangle card front. 

The back has a spot to write a nice message. 

It can also stand upright when folded right. You can make this card using the measurements, images, and video below to help.

Adhesives: Tombow, Tear Tape, Seal, & Dimensionals

Measurements

Basic Black Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 scored @ 1 1/4, 2 1/2, 5, & 6 1/4

Score an "X" between the score lines, leave the center blank.

Basic White & Polished Pink: 2 1/4 x 5 1/4

DSP: 2 x 5

(4) 3.4 x 3

Polished Pink: (4) 1 x 2 1/4

  (2) 1 x 5

1/2 x 2 (for greeting)

You will need to cut in group of twos. Two DSP & Mattes cut from the top Right corner to the bottom Left. Two DSP & Mattes cut from the top Left to the bottom Right. 

Cut the 1 x 5 piece by measuring the half way point ( 2 1/5) and cut from that center mark to each corner. Cut both the same and flip one over. Or mark on the left on one and right on the other to cut from. 

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper by using the measurements and images above.
2. Use your bone folder to help create the folds. 
3. Stamp you flowers onto basic white and die cut them out. Use your blends and wink of stella to color them. 
4. Stamp on your 2 x 1/2 Polished Pink your greeting in Memento Ink. 
5. Glue all your DSP pieces to their matching matte and attach to the card front. 
6. Glue your Basic White to the back.
