Fun Fold Friday- Clever Cats Broom Card

 

I've been wanting to make a card with just 3 brooms and decided to combine two Fun Folds into one. This a is a Mini Twist Easel Card. Instead of having it full size, I made it smaller and attached onto a DSP and cardstock base. 

While this card lays flat you can still pop up the middle to stand up! 

I also wanted to challenge myself and NOT use the cats from the Clever Cats stamp set. This set is so diverse and can be used for so many things, even if you are not a cat lover.

Paper- Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Basic White, Gorgeous Grape

Ink- Granny Apple Green, Memento Black, Gorgeous Grape

Measurements

Granny Apple Green: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

Basic Black: 3 x 6 scored @ 3

2 Basic White: 2 3/4 x 2 3/4

DSP: 4 x 5 1/4

2 3/4 x 3/4

Gorgeous Grape: 2 7/8 x 2 7/8

Steps

1. Measure, score and cut your paper. 
2. Stamp onto one of the Basic White squares your 3 brooms in the 3 colors: Granny Apple Green, Memento Black, and Gorgeous Grape.
3. Die cut a banner in Granny Apple Green and stamp in Memento Ink "It's Halloween!"
4. Score your Basic Black mini card base from the center bottom score to the top right corner of the front. 
5. Assemble: Glue the DSP to the Granny Apple Green. Glue the Gorgeous Grape to the stamped brooms. Place glue on only one side of the Basic Black score line (see video) and attach the brooms. Glue in the Basic White to the inside and add the DSP strip with dimensionals. Attach with Seal+ the mini card to the front of the Granny Apple/DSP piece.
