Miss Monday- Party Puffins Make A Wish

 

Miss Monday cards with Stampin' UP!'s Party Puffins stamp set and 2 of the New In Colors! 

I used Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia.

I used the Stampin' Blends to color in the cake and puffin. 

I used two different cardbase measurements. This was an oops cardbase. I measured it and it was wide enough and so I scored it and attached the front only to find out it wasn't long enough! I decided just to go with it and made a new "edgy" card. 

I consider this simple stamping. No dies, no punches, just paper, ink and stamps. 

I did embellish slightly with the Genial Gems.

Supplies

Party Puffin Stamp Set

Ink-Memento Black Ink, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia

Blends- Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink

Paper- Basic Black, Basic White, Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink

Genial Gems

Measurements

Fresh Freesia Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4

Polished Pink: 4 1/4 x 10 3/4 scored @ 5 1/2

Basic Black: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8

Basic White: 5 x 3 3/4

5 1/4 x 4 (inside)

Steps

1. Measure, score and cut your paper. 
2. Stamp in Memento ink the puffin and cake and color with blends. 
3. Stamp your greetings in the same color as the cardbase, either Polished Pink or Fresh Freesia. 
4. Glue to the cardbase and Basic Black matte. 
5. Embellish with the Genial Gems.
