Wonderful Wednesday-Tombstone Treat Box

 


Welcome to my Wonderful Wednesday Tombstone Treat Box Tutorial!
Every Wednesday I will share with you something that I think is just "wonderful" in a Facebook Live and for everyone who orders on a Wednesday will get the embellishment of the month from me to make their day just a little more wonderful too!

Add a little sparkle to your handmade cards and other paper crafts with these Wonderful Gems. These are adhesive-backed, faceted gems with gold glitter flecks.

Tombstone Tutorial

I made these for my Stamp Camp attendees and just love how they turned out! Here is how you can make them too! 

Supplies
Tasteful Label Dies
Frightful Tag Dies
Frightfully Cute Stamp Set
Memento Black Ink
Paper- Smoky Slate, Silver Foil, Gimmer Black, Window Sheet
Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Metallic Mesh Ribbon 
*Hershey Nuggets

Always Recommended
Paper Snips
Trimmer
Simply Shammy
Die Cutting Machine
Bone Folder
Adhesives: Tombow, Tear Tape, Seal, & Dimensionals

Measurements
DSP: 1 x 3
Window Sheet: 2 3/8 x 3 3/8

Steps
  1. Measure and cut your strips of Cute Halloween DSP. 
  2. Wrap the DSP around the chocolate nugget and glue together (see video). Make at least 5 to fix into the tombstone. 
  3. Find the bottom and top of the tombstone. The top will be just slightly bigger. 
  4. Die cut out of the TOP of the box before you assemble (so it lays flat). 
  5. Attach your window sheet with Tear Tape. 
  6. Assemble the top and bottom of the tombstone (see video). 
  7. Die cut a Smoky Slate label and stamp with Memento Ink. Attach with mini dimensionals. 
  8. Die cut a Glimmer Black tree and a Silver fence and attach with liquid glue. 
  9. Wrap 12 inches of the Mesh ribbon around the top and tie a knot bow.
