Fun Fold Friday with this amazing Kite Fold Card! I made this one into a Mother's Day Card by stamping on the cloud but you honestly could make this Fun Fold into any occasion with the Celebrating You stamp set!
This stamp set came out in the Mini January to June catalog and will be sticking around in the New Annual Catalog coming out on May 3rd.
I've added a traditional cardbase to this card but you could make the kite and it alone could be your card.
The kite is held closed with adhesive backed magnet dics (found on Amazon). Once open there is a spot you can write on or stamp another saying.

Steps
- Measure, score and cut your paper. Use the diagram above or watch my video to get a better idea on how to cut all of the pieces.
- Punch out a Basic White Cloud and stamp in Just Jade the greeting of your choice from the Celebrating You stamp set!
- Glue your Night of Navy matte to your DSP and attach to the cardbase. Also glue in a piece of Basic White for the inside.
- Assemble your kit by gluing on your DSP pieces to the mattes and attaching to the front of the kite.
- Cut about 5 inches of twine and attach with tear tape to back of the bottom of the kite.
- Attach one negative magnet to the inside of the bottom of the kite and attach another negative magnet to the back of the kite (by the twine). See video.
- Glue in the Basic White to the inside of the kite.
- Cut 3 pieces of ribbon of choice and make tiny "knot bows". Attach them to the twine/card front using glue dots.
- Attach the kite to the cardbase with dimensionals and attach the cute cloud with a glue dot.
