Cup of Tea Teepee Cards

 

I made these for a Leadership swap and just LOVE how they turned out! I had made a video on how to make this card and you can watch it on YouTube. 

This Teepee card is 3 sided. One side has the Teacup made with just the Teacup Dies

This side has the stamped "thank you" in Pool Party ink and I got the circle from the New Stylish Shapes Dies. 

The last side has a Basic White triangle with just a little stamping of leaves. 

This card folds out flat and then folds in half to send out in the mail. See the shiny silver circle? That is the magnetic disc that holds the teepee together.

Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper

Paper- Petal Pink, Pool Party, Basic White

Ink- Pool Party, Petal Pink

Basic White Twine (Essentials Twine Pack)

*Magnetic Discs (found on Amazon)

Measurements

3 Petal Pink: 4 x 4 scored on the diagonal

DSP: 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 cut on the diagonal

Basic White: 3 3 /4 x 3 3/4 cut in half at the diagonal

2 x 2 (die cut circle and tag)

Steps

1. Measure, score and cut your paper. 
2. Die cut a DSP teacup and the Pool Party teacup outline. Glue them together. Then cut a piece of twine and attach with glue dots. 
3. Die cut the mini tag in Basic White. 
4. Die cut the Stylish Shapes circle and stamp in Pool Party onto it. 
5. Die cut a Petal Pink hearts. 
6. Stamp in Petal Pink the leaves onto the Basic White triangle. 
7. Glue the 3 Petal Pink 4 x 4 pieces together (watch my video to see how). 
8. Glue the DSP and the Basic White and attach the teacup and thank you circle with dimensionals. 
9. Use the Petal Pink hearts to embellish. 
10. Attach the magnetic disc to the back of the Basic White triangle side and close it to attach the second disc.
