Fun Fold Friday- Glad We're Friends Overlapping Card

This Fun Fold is the "Overlapping" Fun Fold and I learned it from Lisa Curcio (one of Stampin' UP!'s top Demonstrators from Florida). It has two overlapping flaps and once they are open you can see...

…the cute puppy and greeting! 

This puppy is the cutest and looks a lot like a Corgi. His stamped imaged includes a fan. I didn't need the fan for this card so I just stamped him on another piece of Basic White, colored him with my blends, and fussy cut him out with my paper snips. 

This kitty cat is just adorable and can be colored with any color to be made to look like your favorite feline friend!

Ink- Pool Party, Memento Black Ink

Stampin' Blends- Pumpkin Pie, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight

Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Paper Snips

Paper Trimmer

Measurements

Pool Party: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

Daffodil Delight: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8

Left Flap: 3 1/2 x 4 scored @ 1/2

Right Flap: 3 x 3 1/2 scored @ 1/2

Basic White: 5 1/4 x 4

2 1/2 x 2 1/2

scrap (2 x 2)

2 DSP: 3/4 x 4

Right DSP: 2 3/4 x 2 3/4

Left DSP: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

Steps

1. Measure, score, and cut your paper. 
2. Stamp on the Basic White 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 the cat in Memento Ink and the saying in Pool Party. Color cat with your Stampin' Blends.
3. Stamp the puppy onto the scrap of Basic White with Memento Ink and color him with your blends. 
4. Stamp in Pool Party in the center of the 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White your "nine lives" saying. 
5. Glue the DSP strips to the top of the Basic White and bottom and glue to the Daffodil Delight matte.
6. Glue the DSP to their matching flaps. Glue on the kitty onto the smaller flap. 
7. Use Stampin' Seal+ to glue on the big flap to the left and the smaller flap to the right. 
8. Glue on the Pool Party layer.
