Miss Monday- Witch Hat Builder Punch Card

Miss Monday with the Witch Hat Builder Punch .
This punch is currently sold out, so this idea is for all those who currently have the punch. I'll be sure to update my Stampin' Friends once it becomes available again.

This card is great and is a stamp free, ink free card! I just love using the punch pieces to create a background of hats.

I made this card for my team members who met their Stampin' Goals for September.

I made one with linen thread and the only 6 cards with the Parakeet Party Baker's Twine (see image below).

In Color Bakers Twine and bow on the front of the hat. Let me know "witch" one you like the best!

Supplies
Witch Hat Builder Punch
Paper- Fresh Freesia
DSP- Gingham Cottage & Celebrate Everything
Baker's Twine or Linen Thread
Glossy Dots
Soft Seafoam Seam Binding Ribbon

Measurements
Fresh Freesia Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored @ 4 1/4
Fresh Freesia: 3 3/4 x 5
4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Ribbon & Twine: 10 inches

Steps
  1. Measure, score and cut your paper.
  2. Punch out 4 Fresh Freesia hats, stars, and bands. Glue 3 of them onto the 3 3/4 x 5 Fresh Freesia. You can have some hanging off the edge and flip to trim the overlap. For the 4th hat glue just the bottom to the top left side and cut off the top. Glue the top of the 4th hat to the bottom right. Glue the stars.
  3. Glue on the stars and use the Take Your Pick tool to help you place them where you want them to be. Then glue the whole 3 3/4 x 5 Fresh Freesia to the card front.
  4. Punch out the DSP hat with the Gingham Cottage DSP and punch out the hat band from the Celebrate Everything DSP. Glue them together.
  5. Fold the ribbon to make a "fake" bow look (loops and ends on both sides). The use Tear Tape to attach to the back of the hat.
  6. Use dimensionals to attach the hat. You can either put your linen thread/twine behind the hat or in  front. Make it into the bow and fray/separate the ends. Use glue dot to attach.
  7. Add purple Glossy Dot to the band of the hat.
Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
