Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are showcasing Product Suites from the Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog.
Stargazing Suite
The Stargazing Suite is different than most Suites. It comes with the usual, Stamp Set, Dies (or Punch), and Designer Series Paper that coordinates but doesn't have ribbon or embellishments to "tie" it all together. Instead, it comes with the Holographic Trio 12 x 12 Specialty Paper.
The Suite Includes:
Reach for the Stars Stamp Set
Reach for the Stars Dies
Stargazing Designer Series Paper
Holographic Specialty Paper
Here is my design for the New at SU! blog hop!
I used Basic White Embossing Powder for the "you're stella" and cut it in half to fit on the circle planet.
The space ship was also heat embossed but with the Basic Black onto Gray Granite and die cut out.
The flames were also die cut from the DSP.
The rings and stars were die cut from the the Holographic Specialty Paper. The paper comes in Berry Burst, Starry Sky and Holographic.
Don't forget the inside of your card!
I used the stars to cut out "embellishments" and just added liquid glue to the back to attach them.
*Tip: Place glue on the Basic White in little drops and place the star on top of the glue.
Make a "out of this world" card with the Stargazing Suite!

FAR OUT! I'm thinking that Rocket Ship would be cool to stamp on the glow-in-the-dark paper in the September-December mini catalog...it would make this card one step further into the galaxy!
ReplyDeleteThanks friend! That new glow in the dark paper is my new favorite and would make an awesome rocket! Great idea!
DeleteBeautiful card. Love the idea of the embossing!
