There are so many great Shine, Shimmer, & Glow products to pick from but I picked the Glow-in-the- Dark 6 x 6 Specialty Paper with the Tricks & Treats Bundle. I've been wanting something from Stampin' UP! to glow for years and they did not disappoint. I just hope it carries over into the next catalog as well to keep the "glowing" fun going!
I used it with the Tricks & Treats Dies to create this fun glowing ghosts but I've see it used with so many other dies to create glowing stars, suns, moons using stamp sets, such as:
Reach For The Stars
Stars At Night
Bag of Bones
Because the paper is "specialty" and has some extra texture to it I have some bonus tips for you while using it to create.
1). Stamp with Stazon Ink to avoid smearing
2). Use heat embossing powders on it for a nice solid stamped image
3). Use punch or dies shapes (no stamping needed like the card above)
4). Charge your Glow-in-the-Dark paper by holding it under a light source (light bulb or flash light) for 10 seconds to activate the glow factor. You may have to reactivate it over time.
