Miss Monday- Magical Meadow

Miss Monday with a Stamp & Share Crew Tutorial!

Today's Tutorial uses the Magical Meadow stamp set from my online Stampin' UP! Store.

I love the way this Stamper made a Faux Tile look. At first glance I seriously thought she had clued on those pieces of paper perfectly straight and I was like "I could never do that." But I truly think I can make this card too!

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets:  Magical Meadow (162134), also available as a bundle (162144); Sentimental Park (160561)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Basic White (159276); Gray Granite (146983); Lost Lagoon (133679)

·       Stamp Pads & Ink: Lost Lagoon (161678); Mossy Meadow (147111); Soft Sea Foam (147102); Stampin’ Write Markers-Neutrals (161697)

·       Tools:  Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Nested Essentials dies (161597); Simply Scored (122334); Paper Snips scissors (103579)

·       Miscellaneous: Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal (152813); Rustic Metallic Dots (159082); Lost Lagoon ¼: Bordered Ribbon (161171); a ruler

Measurements:

·       Lost Lagoon: 8 ½” x 5 ½” (score at 4 ¼”)

·       Gray Granite: 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅛”, scrap for die cutting

·       Basic White: 3 ¾” x 5”

·       Rustic Metallic Dote: 3

·       Lost Lagoon Ribbon: approx. 8”

Instructions:

1.     Fold the Lost Lagoon cardstock in half to create the card base.

2.     Using the Simply Scored Tool, score a grid pattern on the Basic White cardstock

a.     With the 3 ¾” side at the top, score at 1¼” & 2½”

b.    With the 5” side at the top, score at 1”, 2”, 3” & 4”

3.     With the indented side up, collage stamp the following from the Magical Meadow set on the Basic White cardstock (lightly stamp because you want to avoid getting ink in the grooves)

a.     Soft Sea Foam – long, skinny branch

b.    Lost Lagoon – cedar branch with berries

c.     Mossy Meadow – leafy branch

4.     With the fine tip of a Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker and a ruler, draw lines in the grooves (to create the “grout” in this faux tile look).

5.     Glue the Basic White piece to the Gray Granite piece and then glue the Gray Granite piece on to the Lost Lagoon card base.

6.     On a scrap of Gray Granite cardstock, stamp “let’s celebrate” & “you” with Mossy Meadow ink.  Die cut it out with a rounded corner rectangle from the Nested Essentials dies.

7.     Put some Stampin’ Seal on the back of the rectangle and stick the ribbon on in a zig zag pattern. Stick it on to the bottom right of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

8.     Embellish with three Rustic Metallic Dots around the gray rectangle.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
