New at SU Blog Hop- Sketch Challenge

 

Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are showing how to use a sketch using different stamp sets.

Here is the sketch we were challenge to follow. 

I chose to use the Layering Leaves, which is a Million Dollar Sales Achiever Rachel Tessman's stamp set. 

I decided to try this layout in two directions; vertical and horizontal.  

A close look at the card and I dare say I nailed this sketch challenge. The strip with the sentiment on it. Then above and below the greeting is a cluster of foliage. My added detail is the background stamping I did as well with the leaves in a lighter color. 

Now the hard part is knowing which card you like better.

 Vertical (above) or Horizonal (below). 

I love them BOTH and can't wait to make more cards with this layout!
