Tuesday's Tip at Ten- Same Measurements, Just Rotate

Sometimes we get stuck with our cards all going one direction, either that be horizontal or vertical. I tend to make more vertical cards and have to remind myself to change it up.

My Tuesday's Tip at Ten is to use the same measurements from one card but just rotate it!

I placed the DSP the exact some spot, but changed the direction of the greeting. I also changed the location of the Pretty Peacock strip from behind to in front!!

I love the result and didn't have to "think" too much, just rotate!

Fun Fold Friday- Simply Sparkling Easel Card

Fun Fold Friday using the New Online Exclusive Simply Sparkling stamp and dies!

You will not find this stamp set in any catalog but can only see it my online store! This is an online exclusive and is while supplies. Don't you love all the play on words.
Are you Team Soda or Team Pop?

What makes this card fun is that is has one extra score line that then creates an Easel Card. This can be done with almost any card design and is truly one of my favorite Fun Folds.
For the colors I loved pairing the fruit to the matching cardstock name.
Blueberry Die: Blueberry Bushel
Lime Die: Lemon Lime Twist
Lemon Die: Lemon Lolly
Strawberry: Berry Burst

Once it is set up like an easel it can stamp up on a flat surface (desk) and be displayed for all to see.
Can you guess what DSP I used? Hint, it is out of this world!

Let's just talk about these amazing Simply Sparkling Dies for a minute. They are so much fun! It has all of the soda can details plus added fruit. You can either stamp the fruit, die cut that or just die cut the fruit. I went with the less stamping approach and LOVE the results.

You can make this card too when you shop from my online store! Be sure to use the Hostess Code, TA7J9K6J, for the month to get extra Happy Mail from me!

This card might be my favorite from this set of four. It is so simple yet adorable!

Sadly, I used a retired dies to create the mask (sorry) but the mask could be made with any of Stampin' UP! Dies.

  3. Remove the mask and stamp in Night of the Navy the "Christmas is Better Together".
  4. Stamp in Night of Navy onto the Basic White the two polar bears and fussy cut them out.
  5. Glue the Basic White to the cardbase and attach the polar bears with dimensionals.

This fun fold is all about the trees!

The trees are so fun to decorate with embellishments! I stamped the outlines in a shade darker then the color ink so it would make it really pop!
