Tuesday's Tip at Ten: Make 2 cards, 1 following the sample and 1 changing it up!
On Saturday I was able to be part on Onstage at Home with Stampin' UP! They had a "stamp along" part to this event where they gave us the measurements but we didn't know what the final card would look like until the event.
I always plan to make 2 cards. One card I follow the sample of the stamper and the other one I change up just a couple of things.
Bee Mine Suite: Coming January 2024
Can you see the differences?
I just flipped over the DSP, changed the bee face, and the stamped saying on the bottom. The measurements and supplies were all the same, but I was able to make 2 different cards.
For this one I flipped the bottom DSP and made my wings a different way. The stamper used a watercolor method for her wings. I just used the heart stamp stamp, stamped it off and stamped that for the wings. I felt that was a quicker and easier method for me with a very similar look.
So next time you make a card, make 2 but change up the second card just a little bit and see which one you like better!!!
Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
