Fun Fold Friday- Cutest Cows Double Dutch Gate Fold

Fun Fold Friday with the Cutest Cows Double Dutch Gate Fold!
I made this Fun Fold almost 4 years ago when I was first learning how to make videos. So, I thought it was time to bring it back with this Cutest Cow card.

The inside will open up from the top and sides of the card to reveal some stamped images and sayings.

This cow is absolutely the cutest! It is part of a punch bundle (buy stamp set and punch together and save 10%) and I just can't get enough of it!
Cows just happen to be one of my most favorite animals from my youth and one day I had hoped to have my own cow. This paper cow is way easier to up keep and the fun never ends with it!

The idea behind the design was to make it look like a barn door opening. You can make this card too when you shop from my online store.

Measurements
Cherry Cobbler Cardbase: 4 1/8" x 9" scored @ 5 1/2"
Top- Early Espresso: 3 1/4" x 3 7/8"
Cherry Cobbler: 3" x 3 5/8"
Middle- Cherry Cobbler: 4 1/8" x 2 3/4"
Basic White: (2) 1/2" x 4 1/8"
(2) 1/2" x 2 3/4"
(2) 1/2" x 5 1/2"
3" x 4" (cow)
Bottom- Cherry Cobbler: 2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 2 1/8" on each end
Early Espresso: 1 3/4" x 1 7/8"
DSP: 1 1/2" x 1 5/8:
Inside- Basic White: 3 7/8" x 5 1/4"

Steps
  1. Measure, score and cut your paper.
  2. Emboss the Basic White strips and Cherry Cobbler rectangles with the Timber embossing folder.
  3. Stamp the cow body and head in Early Espresso onto the Basic White. Color with Blends and punch out.
  4. Stamp in the inside with Old Olive and Early Espresso. I used Gray Granite for the milk jug. Glue to the inside of the card.
  5. Assemble Top: Create barn door by gluing the 5 1/2" embossed Basic White over the center as an "X". Trim off the Basic White at the corners. Go around the ends with the other Basic White. Glue the Cherry Cobbler to the Early Espresso and glue to the top of the cardbase. Attach the barn door with Dimensionals only behind the top. Attach the cow with Dimensionals.
  6. Assemble Bottom: Glue the DSP to the Early Espresso matte and attach to the ends of the 2" x 8 1/2" Cherry Cobbler. Using Tear Tape, attach the bottom to the cardbase.
