Fun Fold Friday- Planted Paradise Split Card

I was in need of some Thank You cards for all of my Birthday wishes this month and love how "fun" this Split Card layout looks.

The Stampin' Dimensionals is what makes this card so much fun! Look at all of those layers. I used the Sunny Days Sale-a-bration DSP and thought this would make a great St. Patrick's Day too with those green rainbows!

Embossing the cardstock added some extra texture, but is a step you can skip if needed.
Because the Planted Paradise has no greetings, just images, I grabbed the "thanks" from my Ice Cream Swirl stamp set.

I  love how this card turned out and can't wait to try it out with lots of DSP and Stamp Set combos from my online store.

Supplies

Measurements
Shaded Spruce Cardbase: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4"
Lost Lagoon: 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" split at 2 inches
DSP: 5" x 3 3/4"
Shaded Spruce: 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Lost Lagoon: 3 1/8" x 2 3/8"
Basic White: 3" x 2 1/4"

Steps
  1. Measure, score, and cut your paper.
  2. Stamp onto the Basic White the "thanks" in Lost Lagoon first. Above that, stamp in Crumb Cake the pot, and then above that the leaves in Shaded Spruce.
  3. Dry emboss the 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" Lost Lagoon and then spilt the paper at the 2 inch mark to create to pieces measuring at 5 1/4" x 2 & 5 1/4" x 1 1/2".
  4. Glue the DSP onto the cardbase. Attach the Lost Lagoon over the DSP with dimensionals and create a gap. Glue the Basic White to the Lost Lagoon matte. Use dimensionals to attach it to the Shaded Spruce matte. Use liquid glue on the back of the Shaded Spruce but avoid the center.
  5. Embellish with one gem.
