Tuesday's Tip at Ten- Write on Your Punches

Have you ever bought a punch from Stampin' UP! and can't remember the name of it??? I sure have!
So my tip to you is to label or write on your Stampin' UP! Punches as soon as you get it. This is helpful to know when we want to look for ideas on what to make with that punch. You can type into Pinterest, "Stampin' UP! Cards with Heartfelt Hexagon", and POOF, pops up ideas on what to make.

I just used a gray fine tip sharpie and wrote near the SU logo on the underside where it is smooth. The rest of the punch underside has some texture to it. But, you honestly could label it where ever is best for you! There are no rules to how you do it, I just recommend you do!

Tuesday's Tip at Ten- Cleaning Your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Stampin' UP! has wonderful Products and one of my most loved and used item is my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. This is what I use to die cut out stamped imaged and make paper art. But because I keep my open all the time and my house windows are open year round (I live in Southern California), my favorite product got dirty! I am talking dust + moisture = grimy mess. The dust was so caked on that I couldn't just dry brush it off, but it required some elbow grease and a Lysol wipe. My machine looks so much better now and can't believe I waited so long to do it! How does your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine look? Do you keep yours clean?

Before

Because I keep the plates in ready use position, only one side of the machine was exposed to the dusty air.

Can you see near the handle? It was so gross!
After

Good as new!!!

New at SU April Blog Hop- CASE a Team Member

Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of StampinUp! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and get you crafting! Today we are showing how you can *CASE a card by CASEing our own team of Blog Hoppers!

*CASE has many meanings. I know it as Copy And Share Everything

I got the honor to CASE Diane Browning's Winter Owl Gift Card Holder! She made this card for one of our past New At SU Blog Hops.
You can see every angle of her card by using the link below! I used her card dimensions and not so much her design. But we have some similarities. See if you can spot them!

I used the Gap & Gown stamp set! It is almost graduation season (and I have a Senior this year). I always give a gift card to the new graduates! So a card that can hold a gift card is perfect for me and was why I was drawn to Diane's card.

Inside of the card opens up to another fun greeting, die cut numbers of the graduation year (from the Alphabet A La Mode), and Designer Series Paper, Delightfully Eclectic (50% off right now).

Just like Diane, I created a pocket for the gift card and used Designer Series Paper in the same way!

Isn't it fun to see a Fun Fold using different products? The fun doesn't have to stop here!
Please use the link below to continue your hop!

I am happy to answer any questions about the techniques shown here! Please contact your StampinUp! demonstrator to make a product purchase. If you do not have a demonstrator, you can use the links below to order products from me or join my team.
