12 Days of Tutorials- Light the Year

 


On the Nineth day of Christmas Tutorials my Stampin' Friend gave to me....

Light the Year

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Light the Year (164284); Reindeer Fun (164167); Golden Greenery (164331)

·       Card Stock and Paper: (CS) Very Vanilla (101650); (CS) Mossy Meadow (133676); (DSP) Season of Green & Gold (164324)

·       Stamp Pads: Cherry Cobbler (147083); Gray Granite (147118); Mossy Meadow (147111); Old Olive (147090); Lemon Lolly (161666); Pecan Pie (161665); Early Espresso (147114)

·       Tools: Light the Year Dies (164091); Golden Greenery Dies (164116); Deckled Circles Dies (162286); Blending Brushes (153611); Paper Trimmer (152392); Stampin’ Blends Daffodil Delight (154883) and Poppy Parade (154958)

·       Miscellaneous: Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

 

Measurements:

 

·       Card Stock 1: Very Vanilla 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”

·       Card Stock 2: Mossy Meadow 5 ¼” x 4 1/8”; Mossy Meadow 3 1/8” x 58”

·       Card Stock 3: Very Vanilla 15/16” x ½”

·       DSP: 5 ½” x 4”

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Cut out the Very Vanilla base card then fold it in half making a 5 ½” x 4 ¼” card.

2.     Cut Mossy Meadow CS layer, and Seasons of Green & Gold DSP layer.

3.     Die cut the ¾” Deckled Circle. Adhere all of the pieces in previous steps as shown in photo with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

4.     Stamp the candle from Light the Year in Gray Granite. Then color with Stampin’ Blends (Poppy Parade & Daffodil Delight).

5.     Stamp the remaining pieces from Light the Year and Golden Greenery as shown in photo, then die cut.  Cut the loop off of the lantern.

6.     Using Blending Brush and Lemon Lolly ink, to color in the lantern.

7.     Layer and glue pieces as pictured starting with the candle

8.     Using the Paper Trimmer, cut out the Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla scraps for the sentiment from Reindeer Fun.

9.     Stamp the sentiment, then glue two pieces together adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
