Measurements:

·       Pool Party: 5 ½” x 8 ½” card base

·       Pumpkin Pie: 5 ¼” x 4” layer & approx. 1 ½” x 2” scrap

·       Basic White: 4 ½” x 3”

·       Basic Black: 2 ½” x 4”

·       Snowy Scenes DSP: 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”

Instructions:

1.     Score Pool Party card base on the long side at 4 ¼” and fold.

2.     Attach the Snowy Scenes DSP to the Pumpkin Pie layer using liquid glue.

3.     Add a piece of Pompom ribbon (approx. 6 ½”) to the center of the Pumpkin Pie and DSP layer and attach the ends around the backside using Mini Glue Dots. Then, attach the layer to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.     Die cut the narrow snow globe shape and two of the small mountain shapes using Basic Black cardstock. (This will be the base of your penguin and his arms.)

5.     Die cut a heart (the heart you will use is 2 3/8” at the widest part) from the Hearts of Elegance Dies using Basic White cardstock. On the same piece of cardstock, you will stamp two of the berry clusters in Memento Black ink and the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie. Die cut the sentiment using the base piece of the snow globe and the berries using the coordinating die.

6.     Die cut two more small mountain pieces and a skinny tree using the Pumpkin Pie scrap cardstock. (This will be the flippers and the beak.)

7.     To assemble your penguin, glue the white heart to the black base and trim the sides of the heart that hang over the sides using paper snips. Add the arms using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Snip the Pumpkin Pie tree for the beak and add to his face using liquid glue. Trim the largest berry from each cluster using paper snips and add them to his face using liquid glue. Glue the Pumpkin Pie mountain pieces to the bottom for the flippers then using Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends add a few strokes to form the flippers. Using the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends make two rosy cheeks.

8.     Add the finished penguin to the right side of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

9.     Add the sentiment to the bottom left side of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

10. Tie a bow and add to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.

11. Lastly, add three loose snowflakes to the card front using liquid glue.

 Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
