Measurements:

·       Lost Lagoon Card Stock: 4 ¼” x 11”

·       Pretty Peacock Card Stock: 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”

·       Basic Beige Card Stock: 2” x ½”, 3 ¾” x 5”

·       Basic White Card Stock: 5 ½” x 4 ¼”

·       DSP: 4” x 5 ¼”

·       White & Gold Twine: 16”

Instructions:

1.     Blend the Background:
Using blending brushes, apply Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, and Soft Sea Foam inks randomly across the Basic White cardstock. Create soft transitions between colors for a natural look.

2.     Add Water Splatter Texture:
Lightly load your Water Painter with clean water and flick droplets across the inked surface to create a subtle “bubbled” effect. Let it dry or gently blot with a paper towel.

3.     Create White Ink Splatters:
Place a few drops of White Ink Refill onto a clear stamping block. Add a small amount of water from your Water Painter and mix. Tap the loaded brush or your finger over the paper to create soft white splatters. (See video for technique.)

4.     Die-Cut the Leaf:
Die-cut the large “maple-style” leaf from your prepared background.

5.     Emboss the DSP:
Run your Designer Series Paper (DSP) through the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder to add texture and dimension.

6.     Adhere the Layers:
Attach the embossed DSP to the Pretty Peacock cardstock layer using Stampin’ Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

7.     Add the Leaf:
Adhere your die-cut leaf to the DSP layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals for lift and depth.

8.     Wrap the Twine:
Wrap White & Gold Twine around the layered piece and tie it in a bow near the leaf stem.

9.     Add the Sentiment:
Stamp your greeting on the Basic Beige strip using Pretty Peacock ink. Trim both ends at an angle with your Paper Snips. Adhere the strip over the twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

10. Embellish:
Add three Loose Gold Sequins with Liquid Glue for a touch of shine.

11. Finish the Inside:
Stamp a coordinating sentiment on the Basic Beige inside layer using Pretty Peacock ink. Add three small leaf clusters along the bottom with Lost Lagoon ink. (See video for placement.) Adhere this layer to the inside of the card.

12. Stamp the Envelope:
Stamp your envelope to match the card front for a polished, coordinated look.

Supplies:

·       Stamp Sets: Gathering Moments (165970)

·       Card Stock and Paper: Crushed Curry Cardstock (131199); Early Espresso Cardstock (119686); Basic White Cardstock (166780); Gathering Together Designer Series Paper (165969)

·       Stamp Pads: Cajun Craze Ink (147085); Crushed Curry (147087); Crumb Cake (147116)

·       Tools: Gathering Moments Dies (165979)

·       Miscellaneous: Cajun Craze & Gold Dots (165984); Gold Striped 3/8” Mesh Ribbon (165599); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Liquid Glue (110755)

Measurements:

·       Crushed Curry:  8 ½” x 5 ½”

·       Early Espresso:  5” x 3 ¾”

·       Cajun Craze:  5 ¼” x 4” (x2)

·       Basic White:  5” x 3 ¾”; 4 ¼” x 5 ½” (x1); ¾” strip for greeting

·       DSP:  4 7/8” x 3 5/8”; ½” x 3 ¾”

·       Mesh Ribbon:  3”

Instructions

  1. Score the Card Base
Score the Crushed Curry cardstock at 4 ¼”.  Now fold the top half down towards the middle score line to create the easel part of the card.
  2. Die Cut the Leaf
Using the large leaf outline die, die cut the Early Espresso piece for the front.  Adhere it to the DSP so the DSP shows through the leaf window.  Adhere this to a Cajun Craze layer.  To add this to the front of the card, only apply adhesive to the bottom half of the card front.
  3. Stamp and Die Cut Leaves, Acorn and Mushroom
Using the various inks, stamp the leaves, acorn and mushroom on the Basic White cardstock and die cut them out.
  4. Stamp Greeting
Stamp the greeting of our choice on the ¾” strip of Basic White.  Cut a flag end.  Adhere to the Mesh Ribbon along the back using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add to the card front.  Add the stamped and die cut leaves and acorn.
  5. Stamp Inside
Stamp a leaf on the inside.  Add in the mushroom using a Stampin’ Dimensional. That will allow the easel a place to “rest”.  Add a small strip of coordinating DSP to the inside piece.  Layer and adhere to the inside.
  6. Add Finishing Touches
Embellish with three Cajun Craze & Gold Dots.
  7. Stamp the Envelope
Stamp your envelope to coordinate with your card.

 Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
