New at SU Blog Hop Stampin' Positioner Tips with Filled with Sweetness

Welcome to the NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of StampinUp! Independent Demonstrators from around the world who are full of creative paper crafting ideas to share with you and help get you crafting! This month we are sharing tips & tricks on how to use a new tool...the Stampin' Positioner. The Stampin' Positioner is FREE in February with a Starter Kit.

Above is a quick image look at how this tool is used.
1- Place magnets on paper and place stamp face down onto the paper.
2. Use the plate to pick up the stamp.
3. Ink up the stamp.
4. Put plate back onto the Positioner and then press down and let it "spring up" once done.

I used the Stampin' Positioner to create this Strawberry Jam card using a bundle, Filled with Sweetness, that comes out in March (you can get this bundle now with your Starter Kit).
* If you like this card, come back in March to sign up for my Stamp Camp with this Bundle.

Tips for using Dies & Large Stamped Images
I don't know about you, but I struggle to stamp with LARGE stamps. The clear block is hard for my little hands to hold. There is no holding a clear block with the Positioner, it holds it self. Also, have you ever stamped a large image and not get the ink all the way on it or press hard enough? If so, the Positioner is great for you! It holds the paper in the same place so you can add more ink, and try to stamp again!

Before you line up your paper for Positioner be sure to line up to line up the stamp with the die.
These stamps are super flexible and if you just place it on, it might not die cut right. So lay your die down first and then put the stamp inside the die.

Push the stamp to fill all of the die edges.
Press down with the Positioner plate and pick up the stamp and remove the die.

Make sure your stamp is at the right place with the paper by placing die down and line up with the stamp on the Positioner.

Remove die, ink up stamp and stamp image.

Here is a video short to show the next steps in action.

This card is about 4" x 4" in size and to stamp it you would need either the Positioner or the "F" block .

This die is amazing because it embossing a score line to make it into a card.

I am so glad I had the Stampin' Positioner to stamp this large image. I was able to stamp it with confidence and wasn't afraid of dropping the stamp/block on the paper.

There are so many great things that can be made with the help of the Stampin' Positioner. This is just one idea, keep on hopping to get even MORE ideas to be inspired!
