Double Feature Friday with Splash & Relax! 


This great summer set is perfect to get right now and make cards for the season! 
To get you started here are two great ideas from the Stamp & Share Design Crew! 




Splash and Relax

Supplies: 

 

·       Stamp Sets: Splash and Relax Bundle (167903)

·       Cardstock and Paper: Basic White (166780); Crisp Cantaloupe Card Stock (167693); Coastal Cabana

·       Card Stock (131297); Hydrangea Hue Card Stock (167687); Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper (167734)

·       Stamp Pad: Crisp Cantaloupe (167680); Coastal Cabana (147097); Hydrangea Hue (167677)

·       Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Everyday Arches dies (164629); Bone Folder (102300); Paper Trimmer (152392)

Measurements:

·       Crisp Cantaloupe Card base 4-1/4” x 11; Score at 5-1/2 and 2-3/4; Fold into a mountain so the 2-3/4 piece is on the front.

·       Basic White Card Stock (4” x 5-1/4) for inside; scrap for inside (about 1” x 3”) and outside sentiment; scrap about 5” x 5” for floats & ball.

·       Scrap of Coastal Cabana for inside sentiment mat (approx.1-1/4” x 3-1/4”), scraps for flipflop & sunglass pieces.

 

Instructions:

1.     Cut all CS and DSP to the measurements above and burnish score lines.

2.     Cut Coastal Cabana piece using largest Everyday Arch die.

3.     Using two down from the largest, cut the dsp with the Everyday Arch die; adhere on top of Coastal Cabana arch and then adhere the bottom half to the card base.

4.     Stamp pool floats and ball with three colors. Hydrangea Hue float is stamped off before stamping the design. Adhere and pop ball up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

5.     Cut sunglasses and flipflop pieces and adhere. I put Wink of Stella on the glasses.

6.     Stamp sentiment in Crisp Cantaloupe and die cut with smallest Everyday Arch die. Pop up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere sunglasses to the edge of the sentiment die.

7.     Stamp inside sentiment and mat with Coastal Cabana. Pop on Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to front bottom. 

8.     Pop flip flops on Stampin’ Dimensionals & adhere on white inside so it stops the arch to make it stand.

Measurements:

 

·       Basic White: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scraps

·       Basic Black: 4” x 5 ¼”, scraps

·       Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP: 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”

·       Hydrangea Hue: scrap

·       Poppy Parade: scraps

·       Painted Patterns DSP:  scraps

 

Instructions:

 

1.     Cut a 5 ½” x 8 ½” Basic White card base. Fold in half.

2.     Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” Basic Black panel and adhere to the card front.

3.     Cut a 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” Chevron DSP panel.

4.     Using a blending brush, add Hydrangea Hue ink over the center of the designer paper.

5.     Adhere the designer paper to the card front.

6.     Cut a ½” x 4 ¾” Hydrangea Hue striped designer paper and adhere towards the bottom of the panel – flush on the right side.

7.     Stamp the inner tube stripes onto Poppy Parade cardstock using Poppy Parade ink. Cut.

8.     Adhere the inner tube to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

9.     Stamp the beach ball onto Basic White cardstock using Hydrangea Hue ink – STAMP OFF FIRST.

10. Stamp the top of the beach ball using Poppy Parade ink. Cut.

11. Adhere the beach ball to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

12. Cut the flip flops from the polka dot designer paper and adhere to the card front.

13. Cut the tops of the flip flops from Basic White cardstock and adhere to the tops of the flip flops.

14. Cut the glasses from Basic Black cardstock and adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

15. Stamp the sentiment onto Basic Black cardstock using Craft White ink. Let dry completely. Cut with the Nested Essentials die.

16. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

17. Cut a large star from: Hydrangea Hue, Basic White and Poppy Parade cardstocks and adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

18. Cut a small star from Hydrangea Hue and Poppy Parade cardstocks and adhere to the card front.

19. Cut (2) small stars from Basic White cardstock and adhere to the frames of the glasses.

20. Color (6) Basic Rhinestones using Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.

21. Adhere (1) rhinestone to the beach ball, (1) to the center of each flip flop and (3) randomly to the card front.
