Fun Fold Friday- Easy 1, 2, 3 DSP Z Fold

Fun Fold Friday with an Easy 1, 2, 3, DSP Z Fold!
This card was designed for a Demo Swap Challenge and here is what it had to include:
✔Use Neutral Colors
✔Greeting is miscellaneous or blank
✔Have some Water Coloring
✔Use DSP (Designer Series Paper)
✔Have a Z Fold

Check out my video for helpful tips!

This card is called an Easy 1, 2, 3 because of the DSP measurements.
1" x 4"
2" x 4"
3" x 4"

The fun thing is that I used the DSP to Water Color on (see video)

This card design has a "book spine" feature, which helps create the Z Fold.
So the inside is just that 4" x 4" size.

Here is a top view so you can see the "book spine" and how to Z fold comes together!
You can use the products I used by shopping with the links below or use what you currently have and change up the DSP, stamp set, and colors!

·       Stamp Pads: Mossy Meadow (133645)

·       Tools: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653); Phrases & Frames (167586); Impressions Plate (167767); Water Painters (151298)

·       Miscellaneous: Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Stampin’ Seal Adhesive (152813); Mini Glue Dots (103683); Multipurpose Glue (110755); Linen Thread (104199); Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes (167005)

Measurements:

·       Mossy Meadow: 4 ¼” x 11” scored @ 5 ½”, 4 ¼”, 2 1/8”, 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”

·       Basic White: 2” x 1 ¼”, 4” x 2”

·       DSP: 1” x 4”, 2” x 4”, 3” x 4”

·       Linen Thread: 6 inches

Instructions:

1.     Measure, score, and cut your paper using measurements above.

2.     Die cut with the smallest Phrases & Frames die and use the Impressions Plate to emboss.

3.     Stamp with Mossy Meadow “friend” onto the die cut oval.

4.     Use the fine tip Water Painter to watercolor the DSP leaves. Let DSP dry.

5.     Assemble: Use Multipurpose Glue to create a “book spine” between the 5 ½” & 4 ¼” on the cardbase. Glue in the inside the Basic White 2” x 4” and the DSP 2” x 4”. Glue the 1” x 4” DSP to the outside of the card between the two score lines (the book spine). Glue the watercolored DSP to the Mossy Meadow and glue it to the cardbase between the edge and 2 1/8” score line. Use a Stampin’ Dimensional to attach the “friend” to the bottom right corner of the DSP leaves and have it hang over (just one Dimensional behind the “f” side of the oval).

6.     Embellish with a bow made from Linen Thread and attach with a Mini Glue Dot. Add 3 clear epoxy shapes.

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
