World Card Making Day is coming October 3rd and is one of my favorite days of the whole year. I love the idea of card makers around the world all doing something they love "together". Here is a little history of World Card Making Day.
"Celebrated annually on the first Saturday in October, the day first began in 2006 and was created by Paper Craft magazine as a way to encourage crafters to get a head start on the holiday season."
So for the last 14 years this has been an event that has brought people together. Sadly, because of the restrictions we are in due to the Covid virus there may not be as much in person gathering. But I am here to help you make your cards and get them ready to send out the next week for "World Sending Card Week."
Here is what I suggest:
1. Order kits now from me! Stampin' UP! has some of the best kits around. Below is list and link to each one Stampin' UP! currently has!
Stampin' UP! Kits
Simply Citrus Card Kit
This kit is all inclusive (stamp set, ink, paper supplies) and at only $32 is a great deal!
Looking Up Card Kit
Looking Up kit is a great kit that is also all inclusive and has everyday sayings. It is also a great deal where you get supplies to make 15 cards and get ink, stamp set, clear block all for $29 .
Joy of Sharing Card Kit
If you want to get a head start on your Christmas cards, this All Inclusive kit is for you! You get everything above all just for $35!

This kit is a Project kit, which means you need to buy the ink and stamp set separately. The beauty of this kit is once you have the ink and stamp set you can buy the kit over and over again as a refill!
2. Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by the 10th and get kit in the mail so that you can work on on World Card Making Day. I love my Paper Pumpkin kits!

3. Use Memories and More to make fast and easy cards. You just need to add ink and your favorite stamp set (or the one that matches).
Christmas Themed
Matching Card Bases and Envelopes
Flowers For Every Season
Matching Card Bases and Envelopes
World of Good
Matching Envelops in 2 sizes
4. Use what you have to make up a "kit" for your self. Use one of your favorite layouts from my blog. I have so many card ideas on here with measurements to make it easy for you to create your own. So when World Card Making comes you can make as many cards and you possibly can with ease.
I hope these ideas on how to make easy and fast cards are helpful for you. Join me on my Facebook page, The Joy of Stampin' with Rachael, on October 3rd to share you photos of YOU making cards on World Card Making Day and tell us the number of how many you make! I will be giving out a Paper Pumpkin Kit to ONE random person who shares they cards they made with us that day. :)

Happy Stampin' Everyone!!!
